Beauty Behind Chaos

A short spoken-word reflection on the weight of constant exposure, selective outrage, and the illusion of connection. We were never meant to carry the whole world. We were meant to be present where God placed us. This episode is an invitation to look closer instead of farther, to put the phone down, and to make an impact in the places our eyes—and our feet—can reach.

This episode is raw and uncut, just me hitting record and starting again. I'm no longer in survival mode, but I'm also still learning how to live in peace. And if I'm being honest, peace feels uncomfortable for me. I've spent so much of my life pursuing, building, striving, always moving toward the next thing, that stillness feels unfamiliar. This year, God gave me a word: receive. Not receive more. Not receive recognition or success. But receive what already is. I've sat in answered prayers more times than I can count, yet how often do we miss the moment because we don't slow down long enough to notice it? To receive, for me, has meant learning how to be at peace in the less. Learning how to pause. Learning how to stay. This episode is about settling the chaos, in my mind, my life, and my body. Not rejecting chaos altogether, but understanding it as a place of learning and growth. Because I believe the real beauty isn't found in avoiding chaos, but in how we respond to it.
