My first podcast on the road during this campaign. 

It's finally on! The Prime Minister has called an election for May 30th.

A week focused on vision and action, from Congress discussions shaping a better Malta to concrete work in Parliament.Together, we continue delivering stability, protecting families, and building the next chapter with the Maltese people.

This week we started key works in Marsa under the Grand Harbour revival plan, and at fort Tigne. Opened a new recreational space in Birgu, and continued engaging with residents on energy subsidies and community services. Meanwhile, public discussion continues to grow around national issues, including the BCRS scheme and ongoing speculation about a possible general election.

This week on Bedingfield Now, we reflect on Freedom Day, political expectations, and the challenges facing Malta’s traditional regatta.From Holy Week in Cottonera to getting back to work, it’s a mix of tradition, community, and the other prep work before next summer.

A week focused on delivery, from national security discussions to tangible results in public safety and cleanliness.Strong engagement both in Parliament and within the community, addressing key issues like recycling and pensions.

In this week’s update, I reflect on a positive and productive week focused on delivering results. I highlight the expansion of the door-to-door plastic bottle collection service, making Malta a world leader in this sector. In Parliament, I marked thirteen years since a Labour Government was first elected, reflecting on the reforms achieved while continuing to govern for the many.

I also take you behind the scenes of on‑site visit at White Rocks, where we’ve finally started giving the area the attention it deserves. And, to balance all the policy talk, I wrap up with a proud‑dad moment at the half marathon finish line.

It's been a week of controversy, political controversy. But also a week during which one of the most ambitious project for the Grand Harbour regeneration was unveiled.
