mind of christ. | Chris Lopez

No mind = the mind of Christ. Bread/Feast conscience. Joseph and Potiphar. Jesus and You. From the time you let go. Whatever. Eyes of grace. YHWH Immo. God’s POWER on your normal. Convinced by grace to let go. God inhabits our crisis, our pain, our trauma. The blessing of God pools to the lowest places. The world saved by letting go, not control. From scarcity loops to abundance loops. The resurrection didn’t remove the holes in Jesus’ hands and feet. Jesus the giver/steward of life. Not knowing anything whatsoever. Smooth = flourish. The gift of no concern. Clothed by God. Walking Eden. The gift of success. Blessed for another’s sake. Humble service saves the world. Jesus the locus of favor.

What it Means to be a New Creation | Brett Overesch

What does it really mean to have your identity in Christ? So many of us live stuck between who we’ve been and who we’re trying to become—striving, fixing, improving. But the gospel tells a different story. You’re not becoming new. You’ve already been made new.In this message, we unpack what it means to be a new creation in Christ, to stand in righteousness that isn’t earned, and to live from an identity that’s already been given—not achieved. This isn’t about behavior modification. It’s about transformation that’s already finished. If you’ve struggled with shame, insecurity, or feeling like you’re never “enough,” this message will re-center you in what Jesus has already done. You don’t work for identity. You receive it.

Let it Go into God's hands | Chris Lopez

Are you carrying worries that were never meant for you to carry? In this message, we explore a powerful biblical principle: what happens when you finally let go and place your life in God's hands. In Genesis 39, Potiphar entrusts everything in his house to Joseph—and everything Joseph touches is blessed. This message reveals a deeper spiritual truth: when we release control and trust God fully, His blessing begins to flow into our homes, our work, and our lives. If you're feeling overwhelmed with anxiety, responsibility, or the pressure to hold everything together, this message will show you the freedom that comes from surrendering it all to God.Sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply letting go.

Entering His Rest- Letting Go of Strength and Weakness | Chris Lopez

This Sunday during communion, the Lord met us with a fresh revelation: Jesus is the God of multiplication. From the wedding at Cana to the feedings of the four and five thousand, we see one thread — in His hands, “not enough” becomes overflowing abundance. Communion isn’t only remembrance; it’s a living announcement that Christ’s supply is greater than our lack.In this message, we step into Hebrews 4 and the paradox of rest:resting from weakness (shame, failure, striving) and resting from strength (control, identity, self-reliance).The gospel invites us to let go, cross over, and trust the finished work of Jesus.Key Scriptures: John 2, John 6, Hebrews 4, 2 Corinthians 12:9, Psalm 23, Isaiah 40:31If this blesses you, share it and subscribe for more weekly messages.

people of rest | Chris Lopez

in the bible God told David that his son Solomon would build the house of God. God describes Solomon as a “man of rest.”There is an interesting contrast between David and his son Solomon and correlation between Jesus and the Church.David is described as a man of blood, a man of war.Solomon is described as a man of rest, a man of peace.Jesus fought a different kind of war than David. Jesus’ war was aimed at bigger enemies than David’s, even though David took down lgiants, Jesus took down bigger giants. David’s battles were carnal, against Philistine giants, and foreign hostile countries. Jesus’ fought the enemy giants that plagued all of humanity, sin, death, and devils. Even though it was in David’s heart to build God a house, God tells him that his son Solomon would build the house. David had fought to many battles and shed too much blood. God wanted the builder of his house to be a man of rest, a person of peace. The name Solomon means peace and quietness. David fought battles and supplied great abundance in the kingdom for Solomon to receive by inheritance.David provided for Solomon to inherit, abundance of gold, silver, bronze, iron, cedar, cypress, onyx, and precious stones. Not only does David provide abundance of material, he supplies Solomon with all of the workers and craftsman. (1 Chron 22)Solomon’s life is based around receiving the inheritance from his father David. His life is marked by beauty, peace, & rest. Not only does God choose a “man of rest” Solomon to build the house, the temple of God is described as a “house of rest” in 1 Chron 28.Solomon the man of rest, declares in Psalm 127, “unless the Lord builds the house the laborers labor in vain.”Jesus left a great inheritance for the Church. Way greater and more abundant than what David left Solomon. The church inherited a victory, a vast abundance, and our lives are marked by receiving from Jesus’ finished victory on the cross.“in him we have obtained an inheritance.” Ephesians 1:11We are God’s people of rest, we are God’s temple, God’s house of rest. Are lives are marked by way more beauty, peace, and rest than Solomons.Rest receives wisdom.Peace receives grace.Wisdom comes with riches, possessions, and honor. 2 Chronicles 1:12

the simple gospel and Apollos | Chris Lopez

24Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, competent in the Scriptures. 25He had been instructed in the way of the Lord. And being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26He began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately. 27And when he wished to cross to Achaia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples to welcome him. When he arrived, he greatly helped those who through grace had believed, 28for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, showing by the Scriptures that the Christ was Jesus. - Acts 18:24-28

JOY is in the secret place | Chris Lopez

1“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, (exercise your virtues in public, make a show of your religion before people, be careful not to do your good deeds in the sight of men) to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. 5“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. - Matthew 6
