IZUBA Feat Gnarly Davidson
This Tape is the result of 3,5 years of hardworking and has been developed as I was growing into life. This was inspired by Burundi & Rwanda and describes my life as a close friend to many africans here in France. My goal is to put Burundi on the map because nobody knows about this country and it's culture. But this is my lifestyle. Since I started with fashion design two years ago, my way of producing started to change. I decided not to put pressure on my work and my vision started to take a new dimension. A new wave. I see a great link between music, pattern drawing for sewing and architecture through mathematics and geometry. That's what I am digging everyday. I always have felt a great link with Africa and an overwhelming attraction I can't really explain. This is hypnotizing. I feel home when I'm surrounded by my black brothers, they know it ... I try to take you to the source with this album and paint something colorful and wavy for you. If this project has a message it is : I want you to hang on to your vision and your dreams because when God has a great plan for you, all that whoop-de-doo can't change a thing. Some people talk, and some people do, remember it! When nobody sees your worth and your purpose on this planet, hang on ! God sees it anyway ! You're not alone ... You can be anything you want! Just believe in yourself and a breakthrough will appear. Everything is a matter of time... This tape was inspired by Casey Veggies, Big Fizzo , Ludacris , Heavy K, Rema, Cardo, Purps, Sango, Dom Kennedy, Larry June, Dizzy Wright, Jet Life, Sir Michael Rocks, Black Moon, Juicy J, Youssoupha, Murkage Dave, Alpha Wann, Bas, J Cole, and traditional music of Burundi for sure. And so on... Shout out to my babtus and my indians , I got you homies ! Shout out to all my brothers and sisters from Burundi, Rwanda, Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mauritania, Tchad & Ivory Coast, I got you homies ! Shout out to my people from Los Angeles, Chattanooga, and Detroit... I got you homies! Have fun listening to it and share it a maximum around you so we can change the world together. Special Thanks to God, and to my father for the cover art shot in my native town. By the way, We need to put Kirundi on Google translate and import more chocolate to Burundi ... That's what I'm fighting for. I'm not joking. Wake up Africa ! Sonic Zurp alias the white-skinned Bantu P.S: Tuzosubira kuri Buja kandi Kigali. Turikumwe! One for Soso, we love you
