Join Herbicide Free Campus in a conversation series that seeks to highlight folks working in fields known for their herbicide use (e.g. landscaping, forestry, and farming) in an effort to understand how the ubiquitous reliance on herbicides we see today has been upheld. As listeners, we’ll search for a deeper, more intimate understanding of the various reasons, pressures, and cultural practices that lead decision-makers to continue spraying chemical products with histories of human health and ecological disaster.We hope these conversations will provide a common foundation for us all, herbicide activists and herbicide applicators alike, to come together so that we can move out into our different workplaces with a deeper understanding of the “other” side. I hope you, as the listener, will glean insights and ideas that challenge you, inspire empathy, and build bridges between two sides of a very divisive, controversial issue.
