If you’ve ever had a launch not go the way you planned, this episode is for you. Created in 2021, the Private Practice Academy Bundle (PPA) is my signature program. These flash sales bring in around 30 enrollments at $997 (it’s normally priced at $1497). This time, though? I set a lofty goal of 50. After the initial 3-day flash, I had 21. Is Hyper-Niching Dead in 2026?

Let’s clear something up right now: hyper-niching is NOT dead. In fact, there has never been a better time to get crystal clear on who you serve! If you want private-pay clients, you HAVE to niche down - period. People don’t pay $200-$250+ per session for a “general therapist.” They pay for someone who deeply understands them. If you’re speaking to everyone, you’re speaking to no one. It will always feel like you’re paddling upstream if you’re not niched with your messaging! In today's episode, I'm diving into hyper-niching and why it’s not “dead” in 2026.In this episode, I cover: Why hyper-niching is more important than ever for private-pay therapistsHow a clear niche attracts dream clients + major opportunitiesHow to show your full personality without confusing your audienceWhat being “too-niched” looks like + how to refine your messaging without being roboticConnect with Kelly:Follow on Instagram @businessoftherapy and @sitwithkelly Check out the Business of Therapy websiteMake sure to hit follow/subscribe so you never miss an episode!Resources & Links:Reel Example #1Reel Example #2This episode is sponsored by Alma, the financially rewarding way to go in-networkI recommend setting up an intro call scheduler within Jane - use code: KELLY2MONTH for a 2-month grace periodPrivate Practice Academy Bundle (PPA) Reels Membership Business Coaching Waitlist Free trainingCaption GuideMentioned in this episode:PPA is 52% off! Why Social Media Feels So Overwhelming Right Now

Let's be real - posting on Instagram consistently is a LOT. It's basically an (additional) full-time job! As a therapist, you're already seeing a full caseload. You're handling documentation, coordinating care, and still trying to be a human outside of work. Then you remember it's been five days since your last post. UGH.It's no freaking wonder social media feels so overwhelming! Here's the thing, though: I want you to know how marketing actually works for therapists. The idea that you just need more motivation or confidence to be consistent is a complete LIE!In today's episode, I'm diving into why social media feels so overwhelming right now.In this episode, I cover: The real time commitment it takes to be consistent on InstagramStep-by-step breakdown of what goes into creating a reelCommon Instagram myths therapists need to stop believingWhy showing up is a skill & not something you’re just “naturally” good atHow the Reels Membership gives you a system for sustainable consistencyConnect with Kelly:Follow on Instagram @businessoftherapy and @sitwithkelly Check out the Business of Therapy websiteMake sure to hit follow/subscribe so you never miss an episode!Resources & Links:This episode is sponsored by Alma, the financially rewarding way to go in-networkI recommend setting up an intro call scheduler within Jane - use code: KELLY2MONTH for a 2-month grace periodPrivate Practice Academy Bundle (PPA) Reels Membership Business Coaching Waitlist Free trainingCaption GuideMentioned in this episode:PPA is 52% off! Stuck in 200-View Jail? Why Your Reels Aren’t Working (And How to Fix Them)

Okay, it's time to call it out: the 200-view jail is REAL. You *finally* post that Instagram reel you overthought for way too long…and it gets 243 views. Again. Here's the truth, though: getting low views doesn't automatically mean your content is bad.In fact, most creators (yes, even the ones you look up to) only average 8-10% of their follower count in views. If you've got 1,000 followers, 80-100 views per reel is actually NORMAL!But if your goal is growth and client conversion, there are some key things that might be holding you back. In today's episode, I'm sharing why your reels aren't working and how to fix them.In this episode, I cover: What’s *actually* normal when it comes to reel viewsCommon reasons you’re stuck in 200-view jailHow to break out and start seeing real results Connect with Kelly:Follow on Instagram @businessoftherapy and @sitwithkelly Check out the Business of Therapy websiteMake sure to hit follow/subscribe so you never miss an episode!Resources & Links:Check out Jordan’s ReelCheck out Sol’s ReelMy reel from July 2024This episode is sponsored by Alma, the financially rewarding way to go in-networkI recommend setting up an intro call scheduler within Jane - use code: KELLY2MONTH for a 2-month grace periodPrivate Practice Academy Bundle (PPA) Reels Membership Business Coaching Waitlist Free trainingCaption GuideMentioned in this episode:PPA is 52% off!
