It's been a loooong time! Matters not I'm back and over the course of the next few weeks Chatting will morph into 50 Shades of Rambling On. Today's is as an re-intro really, and reading and adding further comments about the 50 Shades of Rambling on blog. It's not everyday you see a man with a pig in a pram! Well, on a social-distancing meet up in the park that's exactly what we saw! Oh, and a man in a thong!  We continue to delve into the wacky world of Japan and Japanese culture as we enter the final hurdle of our self-isolating spell. It's been emotional!

Have a break, have a kitkat. So the old advert once said! In todays pod I take a tasting session, trying out the cheesecake flavoured Kitkat! I delve into why the Japanese love said Kitkat so much and also take a look out of the window!  Can I have another Kitkat please?

Say hello to Jax! She's a writer who has recently been putting pen to paper (97 thousands words and counting!) In todays episode we talk to her about her work, what inspires her, how she manages to write 97,000 words and discuss her novella about a killer typewriter! Just who is John Wilson? We tried to answer that in the last episode! And failed. So, we've decided to try a second time. Taking Prof Neil Sturridge back to the pub we talked about one of the other John Wilsons. The Detective.

Who is John Wilson? I had no idea so I decided to try and ask someone who might know. I ventured to the sleepy village of Ley Hill on the edge of Buckinghamshire, said to be the birthplace of this most mysterious of characters. What I uncovered was shocking, and completely unknown to almost everyone. Little did I know that John Wilson and his family have shaped the very foundation of this Chiltern village. In the first of two parts we investigate and try to answer - Who is John Wilson? 

Wake up with nothing to do! How about going to see a Shakespeare play at the Globe Theatre? You know, on a whim. Cost - £5 for a standing ticket. Surely a winner? Oh, the play - As You Like It. Did I like it? You'll just have to have a listen. 

What happens when 'Chuckle' Gavin and 'Chuckle' Jess head out to explore London? They find a brass nose, mice eating cheese and try to decide if they were Godzilla, what building they would eat whilst looking over the city from The Tate Modern! Yes, it was that kind of adventure.
