The trade deadline came and went and the Sharks…didn’t do very much. Alex, Ben, and Colin discuss what that means for this season and beyond.

It’s the Olympic Break and there’s no Sharks hockey for…forever. So, Alex, Ben, and Colin take stock of where this team is and where it is likely headed as the trade deadline looms.

Obviously, Alex and Ben had a lot to talk about around the Sharks’ present and future after several podcast-less weeks. One of those things is why the **** the Sharks think they need a Kiefer Sherwood, when the top 9 is already full of guys. Yet, here we are. Enjoy.

Will Smith and Phillip Kurashev are on IR. One of those is because of an uncalled dirty hit. But the end result of the game they both died was a comeback for the ages. Alex, Ben, and Colin talk about all this and the week that was in Sharks’ hockey.

The Sharks had 2 points in 2 games when we put out our first podcast of the year. They still have 2 points after 5 games. Wheeeeee. Alex, Ben, and Colin talk about what’s going wrong already and what could fix it.

The first two games of the season haven’t done much to make us feel like this year is going to be different. We talk about our hopes for the season and what we’ve observed as the season gets going.

The Sharks picked the right guy at #2 and then made some…inconsistent choices through the rest of the draft and into free agency. Alex, Ben, and Colin summarize our thoughts and prepare for another rough season ahead.
