Anna Richards speaks to Natasha Kaye, Tax Partner at Cooley LLP. Natasha is coming to the end of serving four years on the firm’s global Board of Directors, is the London Mental Health & Wellbeing partner lead and helps drive the firm’s diversity initiatives, including the Women’s Initiative. 

Helen Beedham chats with Dr Julie Humphreys about her career in HR, Diversity and Inclusion.   Julie describes her D&I priorities at Compass Group before and during COVID19, how they are adapting their policies and practices and supporting their employees' wellbeing.  She looks ahead to the easing of the lockdown and how they'll be helping colleagues adjust to the 'new normal'.  Reflecting on her career path to date, Julie shares some of the turning points that have helped created new opportunities for her and offers some advice to others looking to progress to similar leadership roles. 

Cityworks' Kathryn Ryan speaks to Leana Coopoosamy, Inclusion, Diversity and Wellbeing Specialist at Clifford Chance about the journey they have been on in establishing their award-winning Ethnicity network.  Leana explains how they organise their network, encourage participation and implement initiatives to support the firm's ethnic minority employees,  including during the coronavirus lockdown.

They also explain why enforced remote-working during COVID19 is very different from true flexible working, and how organisations might learn from current experiences to offer greater workplace flexibility in the future.
