This song was composed by me when I was thanking God for knowing him because I have been experiencing good things in life ever since I gave my life to him. Anytime I sing this song I do feel the presence of God around me. The very first day I taught the choir the song everybody in the choir loved the song and then one of our pastors in the choir even gave the song a solo, I mean he was just freestyling to the song. On Sunday after the choir ministration church members are coming to me to teach them the song because it inspired them. I thought almost 10 people the song that day. Infact since we sang it in church one of the youth sang the song in her school and people in her school was testifying to the glory of the lord because the song really ministered to them. She said she has been using the song as part of her song for praise worship. I want to thank the almighty God for giving me the opportunity to be able to compose a song when I am inspired. This song was composed when i gave my life to Jesus, it made me to remember those time when i was thinking either to give my life to christ or not but i finally gave my life to christ because i decided to choose christ instead of this world. I was been preached to five different times before i was convinced by the holy spirit to choose him. This very day i choose Jesus as my lord and savior, there was a man of God that came to our church to that very day for a church program so the man of God started the sermon and he preached about salvation of your soul. He preahed for one hour but before i could be convinced was almost the time he was rounding offf the sermon when the holy spirit struck my heart and i was convinced to choose christ instead of this world. So after the sermon, there was an alter call and i stepped out to give my life then after that i was led to an office in the church for someone to counsel me and lead me right to christ. Afritunes community, I am so excited to be part of afri-tunes week 81 , it is amazing week already, I want to present a song titled: Iwo loluwa , it is a song , I composed myself. I was so inspired by this song when the holy spirit consoled me that all would be well with me again. I was down and I was thinking about my life, then I had no job the job I was doing before I got married, I lost it immediately after I finished the wedding life was so difficult to live. I must beg as a man before I can provide for my family, infact that was the time my wife was carrying our first child pregnancy things were so difficult. My wife has never been to the mountain before but my situation made her follow me to the mountain to pray for my life to be better. This is how we have been living our lives, waiting for someone to send money to us before we can buy food to eat with my wife's condition. I have applied in several places but all were abortive, so this very day I was doing my morning devotion only in the other room, praying, reading the scripture, and praying till I slept off. And as I woke up the song just came to my mind with the help of the holy spirit that is only him that is God, he said he is the king of kings and the lord of lord. He reminded me of what he did to Lazarus who died for days and when he was called upon the stone was rolled away and he called him out of the tomb, he also reminded me of Sarah that made to be conceived. So he said to me he is still on the throne and that he is God. That was how the song came forth. Then I started singing the song to the whole house and I was blessed and happy, a week later I started coming up gradually from the job I got on the road as a rider permit officer, and then from that job, I got a Globacom job, not long I got another job in a better place and up till now the lord has been so good, he proofs himself to be God “Ohun Loluwa” Kindly see the lyrics below to be blessed and be inspired too. R E F L E C T I O N S When you live your life without anyone betraying, hurting, disappointing, disgracing or offending you, then it means you never did anything worthy. The beauty of life, is that it comes with disappointments and betrayals, from people you least expect. Unfortunately, some of us spend so much time crying over these betrayals and disappointments, and end up becoming victims of all circumstances. Remember One Thing: Holding unto anger is like knocking your head on the wall and expecting the other person to feel the pain. You are only hurting yourself. The fact is that the world is full of annoying, naughty, stupid and ungrateful people, and you will always come across them at one point or another in life. But the best thing to do, is to deal with them with wisdom and maturity. You can’t get everyone to love you, think like you or behave like you... never. We must learn to tolerate and overlook certain things, we must try to bury the faults of others and move on with life. Anger, Hatred and Intolerance have caused most of the world's problems and solved none. Life is short, you don't know how much time you have left (exactly). I beseech you to take the pain and forgive that special person you hold grudges against, and iron out your grievances. Muster the courage and apologize to that person you have offended. Life is not measured by the amount of money, houses or companies you have, but by the positive impact you have made in the life of others that come around you. When you spend the money you have on someone that is in need or you put a smile on someone that is not happy face, you have made a very positive impact on that person.
