Subverse
This week, we’re talking about one of our favorite ero-games so far – Subverse. We talk about our early days with Mass Effect and a new method of cooperative play we experimented with. We also talk about video game budgets and why we try to temper our criticism of ero-games in particular We address some of the criticism that’s out there about this game (specifically regarding the separation between the erotic content and the rest of the gameplay) and why that design worked so well for Ana’s ‘girl brain’ We also talk about something near and dear to Cooperative Foreplay’s mission that Ana spotted in this game in the way that the space shooter’s voiced content may be a nod to the fantasy of playing ero-games together. Last Evil
This week, we’re talking about Last Evil – a game we’ve been comparing to Slay the Spire, only with sex mechanics! We also talk a little bit about incorporating light D/S into your cooperative experience and the weirdness of body type in VR porn.

Breeders of the Nephelym
This week, we played Breeders of the Nephelym, a title still in early access that we last played three years ago, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that this game has come a *long* way! We talk about an old favorite from our Playstation era, the musical soundtrack of our sex life and give the Lovense features of the game a test run. Cockwork Industries
This week, we’re reviewing Cockwork Industries, and it’s an interesting journey! We also talked about some disturbing tendencies in the gaming community that we encountered while reading up on this game. Anyone who has ever read game reviews is probably aware of the entitlement that gamers can have when it comes to interactions with developers. It seems like this is just as strong, if not stronger, in the ero-games industry, and leads to a toxic environment that just ends up making things shitty for everyone.

Lust Epidemic
This week, we’re talking about Lust Epidemic, the first in a series of ero-games from NLT Media (3 at the moment with another one in the works!) We talk about the many great things this game has to offer as well as a few important trigger warnings! Also, more about magic dick syndrome (I warned you we’d be revisiting this topic a lot!) Aura Hentai Cards
This week, we’re talking about Aura Hentai Cards We played the main game, as well as several DLCs (The Dark Sea, Revenge of the Fox Spirit and Jelly Christmas) As longtime fans of Slay the Spire, we really liked the card game under the surface of this title. We talk more about Chaz’s magic dick and our own case of RPG potion syndrome. Find TopHouse Studio’s Patreon here Join TopHouse’s Discord here

Aurelia
Aurelia was a really pleasant surprise. We had the general feeling that pixel based sex scenes were cute, but couldn’t carry enough heat to be taken seriously. We couldn’t have been happier to be wrong! This is a really fantastic game in a lot of ways, especially for fans of old school dungeon crawlers who wondered “What if the monsters were sexy?” We talk about Aurelia and start a conversation we’ll probably be having a lot on this podcast about Magic Dick Syndrome. (Also, this episode is your introduction to a hero you’ll be seeing a lot of – the legendary Chaz.) Join the Mirthal Games Patreon here Join the Mirthal Discord here

Lucy Got Problems
To be honest, this game was in our Steam library from an era when there was a lot less erotic content on Steam. It’s so tame that we debated over whether to review it at all, but because one focus of this podcast is making it easy to get started with ero-games for more reticent souls, we thought it was worth an honorable mention. This game has a free demo on Steam and Itch.io if you want to try before you buy! The patch is actually included on Steam, but it’s a separate add-on – like a DLC but free. Make sure you install it if you want to see the good stuff! In this episode, we also talk about why we chose not to review Evenicle, and the criteria we’re planning to use to decide what to review in the future.

Spooky Starlets
This week, we’re talking about a game that had really interesting potential and didn’t quite live up to its own hype. We discuss what we liked, what we didn’t and what we wished this game had brought to the table.
