    In this episode of the CES Student Podcast, Maddox, Sebastian, Timothy, and Mrs. Medico share everything you need to know about the upcoming 5th grade field trip.Tune in to learn about the places students will be visiting, hear Mrs. Medico’s favorite parts of the trip, and get important reminders about what students can and cannot bring.     In this episode of the CES Student Podcast, Abdiel, Luke, Emery, and Maddox share what they love most about being part of the CES News Crew.From broadcasting and creating short films to interviewing, video editing, and podcasting, they talk about their favorite parts of being on the news and why it’s such a fun and exciting experience.Current 4th graders interested in joining next year’s team can apply between April 13th and April 24th, and the 2026–2027 News Crew will be announced on May 8th. News crew members will work in small groups for 7 straight weeks and must arrive at school before 7:25 AM each morning.Tune in to hear what makes News Crew so enjoyable and why you might want to be part of it!

    Smile Day: The Best Way to Start the Day!

    In this episode of the CES Student Podcast, we’re talking about one of the best parts of the morning — Smile Day! 😊Smile Day happens before the school day begins, when students in 1st–5th grade get a chance to have fun and spend time together. Each grade level has an assigned day during the week to participate.On nice weather days, students can go outside or get their laps in for Run Club. When it’s rainy, the fun moves inside the gym with different activities to enjoy.Tune in as our student hosts explain how Smile Day works and share what they enjoy most about this special time before school!

    In this episode of the CES Student Podcast, we’re talking all about one of the most exciting community events of the year — Heart of Forsyth! This special event brings together schools from across our cluster for a night full of fun, connection, and celebration.     “March Madness: Battle of the Books!

    In this episode of the CES Student Podcast, students talk about our school’s exciting book tournament inspired by NCAA March Madness! Instead of basketball teams competing, our favorite books go head-to-head in a bracket challenge.Students vote for their favorite books in each round, and the books with the most votes move on to the next bracket. Round by round, the competition gets tougher until only one champion book remains!Tune in to hear our student hosts explain how the book bracket works, share their favorite books in the competition, and talk about which stories they hope will win it all. Will your favorite book become the champion?
