    Learn to Surf in Maui : Holly Williams

    When Holly Williams chose Maui Surfer Girls as the outfit to help her cross "learn to surf" off her bucket list she had no idea the amazing community she was about to join. This interview, recorded before the deadly August 8th, 2023 wildfire on the island of Maui tells the story of how Holly experienced not only learning to surf, but was able to participate in a service project, learned about the culture, farming and history of the island and gained an entire new community. Maui Surfer Girls, a top rated, women operated and focused surf camp and school. staff has been drastically effected by the wildfires. Five of the staff have lost their homes and most have lost their lively hoods as it will take some time for the island to recover.
