Menstruation, Ovulation, and Parts of the Penis
This episode of Daring Discussions is the #sexeducation you've always known you needed.... but couldn't seem to find! We are talking all about Anatomy, Physiology, Sexual Health & Reproduction. This episode is heavily visual, consider watching on YouTube Let’s be real—most of us grew up in homes or churches where talking about this stuff was either awkward, avoided, or downright shameful. But here’s the thing: understanding how our bodies work is a vital part of honoring the temples God gave us. Here's an episode breakdown: * The anatomy of the uterus, vulva and penis (yes, I said it—anatomy is God’s design, and we’re talking about it). * Menstruation and Ovulation * What the Bible says about caring for our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 is the blueprint). *The woman with the issue of blood (Luke 8:43-48) and what her story teaches us about seeking healing, breaking shame, and trusting God with our health. Knowledge is the key to good stewardship, —learning to care for these bodies God gave us while unlearning all the myths and stigma. What makes us sexual beings?: Christianity & The Circles of Sexuality
We are kicking off a brand-new series, “What Makes Us Sexual Beings?” This series is about discovering all the layers of our sexuality. Using both the Circles of Sexuality model and God's word, we are truly bridging the gap between science and scripture. In part 1 of the series, we’re starting with Sensuality, a key way that we connect with ourselves and experience the world around us. Today’s episode we are having Daring Discussions that defines Sensuality, as well as body image, skin hunger, the sexual response cycle, and fantasies. Psalm 139:13-14 teaches us that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” It’s time to see yourself the way God sees you—no shame, no judgment, just appreciation and compassion. And the Song of Solomon? We go there, too. That book celebrates physical attraction, intimacy, and sensual connection as part of God’s good design for us. My hope is that after this episode you get comfortable with what it means to be a sensual being, embracing your desires, your body, and every layer that makes you whole. (I also hope you've subscribed and will return each week for the rest of the series) Here is the link to the Circles of Sexuality Model that will guide this series: https://bit.ly/4hNi1xN I would love to have you join the Intimacy Insiders by hitting that subscribe button, leaving a comment, and following along on our Real.
