Kansas Motor Speedway
On Sunday, May 11, 2025, Kyle Larson delivered a commanding performance at Kansas Speedway, winning the AdventHealth 400 and securing his third victory of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. Starting from the pole, Larson led 221 of the 267 laps, sweeping both stages and setting the fastest lap of the race. This win marked his third career victory at Kansas and the 32nd of his Cup Series career, tying him with Dale Jarrett on the all-time wins list. Larson’s dominant run also earned him the first “perfect” race of the season, accumulating 61 points and extending his lead in the championship standings. The race was not without its challenges. Multiple caution periods in the final 72 laps tested drivers’ strategies and tire management. Larson managed his worn tires expertly, holding off a late charge from Christopher Bell, who finished second—his best result at Kansas to date. Ryan Blaney secured third place, followed by Chase Briscoe in fourth and Alex Bowman in fifth. Notably, Brad Keselowski suffered a tire blowout while running second with 73 laps remaining, leading to his fifth DNF of the season. Chevrolet extended its winning streak at Kansas to three races, while Ford’s drought at the track reached nine consecutive events without a victory. Larson’s milestone of surpassing 10,000 career laps led places him among elite company, joining active drivers Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch in that achievement. With this win, Larson solidified his position atop the drivers’ standings, now holding a 35-point lead over teammate William Byron.
