CW: rape, acid attacks, sexual assault, violence against women. India has consistently ranked in the top 10 most dangerous countries for women. Although sensationalized cases like 'Nirbhaya' in 2012 sparked much needed conversation about sexual violence against women in India, much remains to be discussed on the various forms of such violence, its causes and what we can do about it. This podcast aims to raise awareness on various aspects of sexual violence against Indian women and also to uncover how members of the South Asian diaspora can stand in solidarity with those in India, to bring transformative change towards this issue.
