Diary of Changes
by Miłka O. Malzahn
I create mini-broadcasts, so you can find here what is fleeting and important in our reality. Diary of Changes is a sound column in which I allow to be other voices, also. There are sound landscapes, fantasies, cold observations, hot emotions. I add a pinch of poetry, a little taste of tears, light of smile, the rustle of kind words. It's hard to describe, but the podcast is easy to listen to :)Always - short sections, just for coffee, for a small traffic jam, for relaxation... wherever you are. My name is Miłka Malzahn, and the podcast is called Diary of Changes, let it be a kind of inspiration. *** P.S. and I warn you: this is not a typically educational, informative or entertaining podcast; rather artistic and personal. You can listen to it for relaxation, inspiration or mindfulness, or... write in the comment what you think about it. Inner Dance – Poetic Audio. #16
Pause for a moment. Take a breath. Or simply sit quietly and let yourself be here. This bilingual audio poem blends English with the soft, melodic sounds of Polish — offering not only meaning but the beauty of language itself. The Slavic tones invite you to experience mindfulness through both content and the resonance of words, as their rhythm and frequency gently reach the body and mind.Created for sensitive, feeling souls, this poetic meditation is an invitation to slow down, notice the subtle dance within, and tune in to the quiet pulse of life around you. It is about silence, movement, and the deeper source of strength we carry inside.Press play when you need a moment to breathe or simply be. Sometimes, a minute of poetry is all it takes.

Affirmation of Maturity – A Bilingual Reflection on the Inner Voice #14
Affirmation of Maturity – A Bilingual Reflection on the Inner VoiceWords are not just content – they are also sound, rhythm, and energy that carry meaning. That’s why in this affirmation of maturity, I use two languages, allowing one thought to resonate more deeply and fully.I let Polish and English intertwine, creating a shared space for reflection and calm. Let it truly resonate. From a scientific perspective, maturity is not just a sum of experiences or age – it is the ability for self-reflection, recognizing one’s emotions, and making conscious decisions.Psychologists emphasize that the inner voice I speak of is the result of developing self-awareness and self-empathy. This voice allows us to separate impulses from values, pause for a moment, and choose what truly serves us. In this affirmation, maturity is not something fixed forever – it can fall asleep or get lost, but it can always be gently awakened. It is a calm certainty that whispers: “Hey, you know what to do, you know what to say. Don’t be rash, but be yourself. Don’t be harsh, but be decisive.” The bilingual form of this piece strengthens the message – because no matter the language, we all seek the same wisdom and peace within ourselves. Allow these words—and their sound—to truly resonate within you.Maturity has lived with me from the start. It knows how to guide me toward what is good, and what might harm me.Sometimes maturity falls asleep for a moment, but I gently wake it up,whispering to myself-“Hey, you know what to do,you know what to say.Don’t rush, but be yourself.Don’t be harsh, but be strong.”Hey, you know what to do,Hey, you know what to say.Take your time, be true,Let your heart lead the way.Don’t rush, just be yourself,Don’t be harsh, but be strong.Find your voice, find your help,You’ve been wise all along.https://www.milkamalzahn.pl/english-biography/

Shaking off the dust...
Do przodu idę spokojnie, strzepując z ramion niepotrzebny bitewny kurz.I easily see the relationships and momentsthat no longer serve me well.I understand them deeply and accept others as they are.I take my own hand gentlyand lead myself awayfrom toxic places, ties, and memories.I care for myself with quiet wisdom. I move forward calmly, shaking off the dust of old battles./https://www.milkamalzahn.pl/english-biography/

I've got clouds #11
Poetry often finds its roots in the mundane. It springs from the everyday experiences that surround us – the quiet observation of clouds drifting by, the subtle nuances of a familiar street, the unspoken emotions we encounter daily. Look closely at the ordinary; within it, you'll often discover the extraordinary heart of poetry...I've got clouds above my head,But they hold no rain.A shower of glass will soon descend,Bringing only pain.Someone's slipped off their shoes,Left them in the hall's dim light.Frozen whispers linger, it's true,Echoes in the quiet night. No baskets plummeting from window panes,No coffee brewed with earthy grime. And though anonymous letters might possess a pristine verse,Yet no one with a guiltless heart would read such tales to sleep.https://www.milkamalzahn.pl/english-biography/

Why lanscape is important? #9
Landscape, the geographical one, i.e. terrain, vegetation, water bodies etc. and the symbolic, cultural one - will be different, depending on the moment of life at which we look. And I think we all know the feeling when we visit a place we haven't seen for a long time, and there is "everything wrong". PS. Such journeys are really treacherous. There are landscapes that "last a lifetime", but probably not everyone has found such a place. Besides, you can have several landscapes in you and build structures from their layers in you. And we know that this older view is somewhere underneath, and that is why - pay attention to the landscape that you have at your disposal today, for yourself! It's important.

Why do we need fear? #8
I look at my fear. I notice as he guides me. I look carefully, I do not turn away from my own fear. Think about it - what changes are you making thanks to it?People act more effectively when they feel fear or anxiety. Paradoxically - when managing fear, effectiveness appears, but when it is released "unattended", destruction begins. Fear seems to be a good impetus for change when we need change, of course. Fear does not hug or stroke, but pushes. Sometimes I thank my fear, I don't magnify it, I don't pay too much attention to it, I don't look to it for advice. It is an impulse. It is a strategic trigger. Nothing more.https://buycoffee.to/dziennik.zmian

Sacrificing #7
Sacrificing any of your needs, this true and sincere one, ultimately comes back against you, against your body. The body knows and feels everything, before the mind recognizes, names and classifies the situation - the body already knows. Why is it so hard for me to listen to my own body? it's Incomprehensible.https://buycoffee.to/dziennik.zmian

The language of memory - Iwa Hotel #6
the language of memory In every town and city in Poland during the times of the Polish People's Republic (the 1970s and 1980s are important in that moment), there was an officially elegant place. It was a café, a community centre, a restaurant.... variously. But it was the face of luxury in this poor country in this grey reality. In Białowieża it was the Iwa hotel. We are remembering this place this place (me, Malgsia and Lars), because whoever has seen it once - will never forget it. and besides memories - they have that international vibe, a common language of memory, don't they? https://www.milkamalzahn.pl/english-biography/

The art of decision-making #5
Roads, crossroads, junctions, various paths, cross-country routes and shortcuts.Which way, then? Please assume that the choice is not simply the exclusion of another option, forever, for necessity. It is simply setting a direction. Something gentle and natural. It is like admiring a landscape: we automatically turn our face towards a beautiful view, we look at it in openness, in admiration. Beauty is harmonious and gentle. This is how choices are made. Make decisions guided by beauty. Beauty in the broadest sense, beauty that is deeply felt. my bio

What jazz means to you? #4
Jazz - when it uses harmony - is a tool that allows you to sort out the seed of chaos that appears in you, in every person. Sometimes. .Harmony is compliance, mutual complementation or proper proportions. So jazz is a process - use it consciously. my music.Best regards!Miłka / Milka

Thoughts are like ships #3
Often a thought pops into my head, anchors like a ship in the harbour and doesn't go anywhere until I do a ceremonial check-in - that is - I invoke the thought, give it voice.Only then does it sail away.a thought for today ;) No intellectual concept, however, is more important than living impulses, than information flowing from the body. Neither wishful nor philosophical concept is more important than a relaxed, healthy, vividly reacting body.https://buycoffee.to/dziennik.zmian

Do you have joy in creating this world? #2
After all, you know that creating, creating is (generally) enjoyable and it is cosmic fun. Here is something being created that has not been here before.Something out of not-something, just because you are you, that you have the will, the determination and the time :).This is how the world is created. This world. And other cosmos...

The language - audio for 60secondesradio
The language" to jest audio zrealizowane dla "60secondesradio". Wspaniała przygoda! @milka.malzahn Speaking aloud about difficult emotions, about invisible convulsions of the heart - is not easy. In fact, it is a very difficult art that only a few have mastered.... What about me? No, I don't think so. :) My language is Polish, so I wonder: is easier to express absolutely sincere, painful emotions in a foreign language.... ? I'm checking it out.P.S. Scientific research shows that when we use a foreign language, our decisions and judgments may be shaped differently than when we use our native language. I reached for the work of moral psychologist dr hab. Michał Białek from the University of Wrocław / Poland, who, as part of a grant from the National Science Centre, studies the so-called foreign language effect. ________________________ Chcesz wiedzieć więcej?
