Didi ki Rasoi

Didi ki Rasoi is an attempt to put forth the narratives of domestic workers who are employed as cooks in the kitchens of families, bachelors, offices, etc., where they subtly fuse together their own food traditions and techniques with those of their employers. Subsequently, what takes place is a cultural synthesis of cuisines and stories. The idea of this podcast is to witness their art of cooking in kitchens other than their own as they speak about their experiences of work and life in a city like Mumbai. A Parwana Productions Podcast CreditsConcept & Script: Nikhita SinghDirectors & Hosts: Nikhita Singh, Shruti Hande Cast: Archana Vinod Vaghe, Jayshree Suryakant Mohite, Laxmi Shetty, Rashmi Mandal (Rekha), Ulhasabai Chindu Panmad (Leelabai), Tara Ramesh SalveSound Designer
