Also, we discuss the abysmal political failure in containing the Covid-19 pandemic in Los Angeles and the U.S., as well as the collossal fuck-up by the European Union to secure vaccines for its citizens. Then, we take a look back at Steve Bannon's predictions in September for the 2020 election.

In which we argue about Jeffrey Goldberg's reporting about Trump in the Atlantic. But mainly, with all the recent talk about "all hands on deck" to elect Joe Biden who will deliver us from evil, we take a look at California where the Democratic party has a supermajority in the legislature to see how heavensent the libs truly are. Hint, hint: it's more like the fifth circle of hell.

This week, we talk about hope in the middle of a pandemic, and conspiracy theorists who cash in among other things. One of our favorite comedians is Marc Maron, a self-admitted former conspiracy theorist. Our intro this week is a clip of Marc explaining his current take on conspiracies, while promoting the film "Sword of Trust", written and directed by his partner Lynn Shelton, who died suddenly last Saturday morning. Our hearts and sympathies goe out to Marc and all of Ms. Shelton's family, friends and fans. It's truly wrenching when you realize that individual, private nightmares still exist under this canopy of global and national crisis. To quote another writer and artist gone too soon, Michelle McNamara, "It's chaos, be kind."

Don't call it a comeback! This week turns out to be a wide-ranging meditation on modern-day fascism, its enablers in elite circles and how the Coronavirus crisis plays into it. Also this week: our first installment of Dilettante Central Legal Advice for all you drug dealers and arms smugglers out there.
