Pour two artistic formats into a creative cauldron and listen to what comes out at the end. That’s what poet Tony Howson and opera singer Juliana Snapper have been experimenting with. They took a poem from Tony’s latest collection, Love, Hate and Fragility, and Juliana spiced it with an operatic approach. Müge Çetinkaya, "Londra Notları" kitabının yazılma serüvenini ve kitabının içeriğini anlatıyor... Merhaba ben Müge Çetinkaya, Londra Notları dünyanın en önemli merkezlerinden biri olan Londra’yla ve oradan gördüğüm dünyayla ilişkimi anlattığım bir kitap. İsminin çağrıştırabileceği üzere bir gezi rehberi değil fakat kitapta, Londra’da yaşayan bir Türk olarak hayatımı şekillendiren mekanlara yer verdim. Ve bu mekanları, okuyucuya “ben de mutlaka buralara gitmek ve görmek istiyorum” dedirten kendime has bir duyguyla yazdım. Gezip görmenin ötesinde, o mekanları gerçekten solumak ve oralarda vakit geçirmek isteğini uyandıran satırlarla. Kitap bir günlük de değil fakat pandemi döneminde hemen hemen her gün yazma vaktini bulduğum için gün gün yazılmış bir kitap. Yani hayatımı anlatmıyorum. Süreci kitap yazarak değerlendirdiğim için de mutluyum çünkü bütün dünyanın mağruz kaldığı bir durumu, hem sosyolog kimliğimle hem de yoğun kısıtlamalarla yaşayan bir birey olarak değerlendirdim. Her okuyuşumda iyi ki yazmışım diyorum, çünkü o gunleri unuttukca daha da değerlenen satırlar yazmışım. Yeri geldiğinde kaynak olarak da kullanıbilecek bir kitap. Bu sizi yanıltmasın çünkü okurken oldukça keyif alabileceğiniz, ılımlı ve zaman zaman da güldüren bir kitap Londra Notları. Ayrıca kitap kendi yazılma sürecini de anlatiyor, okuyucu icin değişik bir deneyim. Kitapta her birimizin olduğu gibi benim de o dönemde sınanan, zorlanan ya da güçlenen insan ilişkilerini de bulacaksınız. Yani evlerimize kapandığımız o günlerde yalnızlık da dahil beni besleyen ne varsa içtenlikle anlattığım bir kitap. 75 küçük bölümden oluşuyor. Keyifli okumalar dilerim.
