Divine Medicine: The Road to Wellness
by Jenny
The road to wellness starts and ends with you. There is tremendous healing capacity within each of us, but harnessing that energy requires more than a good meditation practice. Rather than band-aid what ails us, let's talk about how to get to the root of dis-ease and heal together. After suffering a stroke in 2019, followed by severe burnout in 2023, my healing came by utilizing both western medicine, as well as alternative practices like reiki, breathwork and yoga. I will share stories of my own healthcare experience, as a patient and healthcare worker of 22 years, as well as welcome others to share their experiences in healthcare from both sides of the bed.

Partnering with the Body
In this episode, I share what I've been learning about how trauma is stored in the body, how trauma can show up in our lives in the form of "dirty pain", causing all kinds of problems, and some questions to ask yourself to support your body and healing.Learning to understand the body's signs and signals is just the first step in healing, but to do that, we must first calm our nervous system down enough to understand what our body is trying to tell us vs the stories our mind has made up, based in fear and old traumas. To learn more, share a story, or just to chat, visit https://www.cuzurmagrl.com/ or email me at [email protected]

Unconscious Bias in the Emergency Department
You hear a lot about unconscious bias, but maybe you aren't exactly sure what it is. Or perhaps you don't think you could be bias, and don't think this could pertain to you. I never thought I could be on the receiving end either, but here I am. In this episode, I share how I experienced unconscious bias first hand, and the ramifications of that bias. If you have a mental health experience you want to process, or you're looking for tools outside of traditional therapy for healing, let's talk. To Visit or Not to Visit
There is so much healing potential in all of us, you cannot underestimate how visiting a friend or loved one in the hospital can support them. And if you're on the fence about visiting that friend or relative, but you're feeling the pull, just do it. We will be working through the trauma of Covid for a long while and the restrictions and limits we placed on people in their most vulnerable moments. It is wild to think where we were 5 years ago, and we all play a role in helping one another heal. Don't forget to visit https://www.cuzurmagrl.com/ to learn more and sign up for my newsletter!
