We are back in our rookie cards mode. This week landing in the 80's for a pair of fantasy booked cards from 1984 and 1988. Lots of legendary talent and future stars to work with here and some blink and you'll miss them relics too. This should be a fun trip down memory lane.

January 2026 saw the dissolution of one of the longest running and influential factions in Pro Wrestling History, Bullet Club. The ever evolving group had a roller coast and legendary runs through not only their home promotion of New Japan Pro Wrestling but various others like Impact Wrestling, AEW, Ring of Honor, CMLL, Global Force Wrestling and even WWE (kind of). They helped launch careers and sold lots of merchandise in their run dating back to May 2013. This week the Dropkick Basement is sending them off in style by tier ranking the members, well most of the members and sharing our thoughts on the rise and fall of Bullet Club.

This week we focus on the best of the best from Japan. Listen as we pull together the dream team for wrestlers who made their reputation in their home country of Japan. There are lots of legends and some surprises in store so listen in to this one.

The NWA/WCW had a running tradition of their biggest card of the year in the end of the year. That show was Starrcade, originally run on Thanksgiving night, it was later moved to December and stayed in December through to WCW's sale to World Wrestling Entertainment in 2001. AEW just celebrated 5 years in business and signed a very lucrative rights deal with WBD. This week we break down their best signings so far of talent associated with WWE. In October 1987, The National Wrestling Alliance bought out Bill Watts's Universal Wrestling Federation and absorbed their roster into a bigger NWA. This episode we will talk about the original merger and rebook the scene after the 2 companies combine. From October 1987 to May 1988, we will walk you through it. 

On this week's episode, Tom takes his first steps as a booker and presents his debut show for his promotion built from the 2006 Free Agent Draft. With a deep roster and several international legends, where will his vision go and how will the talent handle their opponents.
