Education From The Grassroots

Nilesh Nimkar lives in a small tribal village in the Palghar district of Maharashtra. Through his NGO QUEST, he has taught and worked in the grassroots of rural and tribal communities in India for more than two decades. In this podcast he discusses the lives, issues and education of children and illuminates various fundamentals of pedagogy through his experiences as an educator. In some episodes he offers his thoughts on the contemporary concerns of teaching and learning in a changing world.
