However, it was panned across the board and is often considered one of the worst games in the series. So what went wrong with this game? Banana Mania was a great revival for the series! But with Nagoshi and Shirosaki leaving to form their own studio at NetEase, what is the future of the series? Will SEGA make a new game with more classic-style game design, or will they maintain their current trajectory?
