Ellen Gunning presents the Mediascope Show on 103.2 Dublin City fm. This weekly programme targets an audience of PR professionals, journalists and event managers. The show provides an insight into the communications industry in Ireland and covers current events in the sector. Ellen is also the presenter and producer of two radio series - Integrating Europe and The EU and You. Her interview with Commissioner Maire Geoghegan Quinn on "The EU and You" won her the European Parliament Journalist of the Year Award (Irl) in 2011. She is the director of the Irish Academy of Public Relations (www.irishacademy.com) which provides online courses in PR, journalism, event management, marketing, radio journalism and English grammar. Students are based in 32 countries around the world. Courses are taught in up to 5 languages. Ellen has also written two books - Public Relations a practical approach (published by Gill and Macmillan) and Capital Women of Influence (published by Liffey Press).
