Description

At the end of 2019, I recorded a podcast episode (then titled, Not Ajay’s Talk Show) with Rio Dael to discuss the detrimental and unrealistic notions of Filipina beauty standards. With my circumstances of this crushing pandemic, a quarter-life crisis, and my postgraduate journey, I’ve decided to revisit and revise this project as embodied. embodied explores my anecdotes of survival, enjoyment, and more. Influenced by my studies in acting and cognitive science, the show inspires various conversations of vulnerability, truth, and presence.Artwork by Kristine Nguyen
