That's rough buddy... Mary-Kate (Firebender) and Karl (Airbender) join Zuko and Sokka on their mission to Boiling Rock to save hot Water Tribe daddy Hakoda. They get more than they bargained for when they discover a familiar face imprisoned on the island and a certain Fire Nation Princess and her two best "friends" make their arrival. 

It's time for 'Life Experiences with Good Boy Zuko' as we head toward the end of the series - and first up is Aang himself. Because Zuko has let go of his rage he is struggling to fire bend so Toph suggests they go find the original benders, the mighty dragons. Sadly they do not exist anymore, however the Sun Warriors may remember their ways. Join Karl (Airbender) and Mary-Kate (Firebender) as they mirror Aang and Zuko's performance of "The Dancing Dragon" in 'The Firebending Masters'.

The gAang rolls up the Western Air Temple to regroup and plan their next move, after their failure on the Day of Black Sun. Meanwhile Zuko tries to make good with the gAang by offering to teach Aang firebending. After a bout with Combustion Man, our heroes finally let Zuko join them... but Katara isn't here for his little "transformation". The Day of Black Sun is finally here... what could go wrong? Join Mary-Kate (Firebender) and Karl (Airbender) as they invade the Fire Nation capital along with hot dad Hakoda, battle Azula and the Dai Li with Sokka, Toph and Aang and most importantly, face Fire Lord Ozai with Zuko. Is it finally time for true redemption?

Toph shows Team Avatar how to make a quick buck, but soon our heroes find themselves in hot water when they are discovered by "Combustion Man" in 'The Runaway'; and then in 'The Puppetmaster' we learn that there's more to waterbending than we once thought, much more...  Lastly, we join Aang as he figures out how to master his nocturnal fears in 'Nightmares & Daydreams'. Team Azula/ Zuko open up with each other and dig deep into who they are a la 'The Breakfast Club' while on a forced holiday in 'The Beach'; and then in 'The Avatar and the Firelord' we travel back in time to witness the brotherhood, friendship, tension and final betrayal of Avatar Roku by Fire Lord Sozin. Sokka and Katara are in the spotlight this week! In 'The Painted Lady' Katara takes matters into her own hands when a Fire Nation Colony is starved of their resources by a local Fire Nation munitions factory; and in 'Sokka's Master' Sokka learns the way of the sword from Master Piandao. Now I gotta cut loose, footloose! In 'The Headband', Kevin Bacon - I mean Aang - teaches an entire Fire Nation school the importance of self-expression and freedom through the joy of dance. Meanwhile Prince Zuko struggles with his anxiety that the Avatar might still be alive, so he employs an assassin to make doubly sure his honour has truly been restored. Everyone thinks he's dead but Aang's back, baby! And this time with hair!It's been several weeks since the events of the season 2 finale and we now meet our band of heroes on a stole Fire Nation ship, dressed in Fire Nation garb, making their way toward the Day of Black Sun. Meanwhile our beautiful and clever Princess Azula and our long lost Prince Zuko are welcomed home with much fanfare. What could go wrong? Team Avatar finally gets some face time with the Earth King, and much to Long Feng's chagrin they convince him that the outside war is real by showing him the drill that was trying to infiltrate his city - complete with the Fire Nation insignia. Meanwhile Zuko is bedridden and sick to his stomach because he did the right thing, something entirely in conflict with his view of himself. Join Karl (Airbender) and Mary-Kate (Firebender) while they meet the Earth King, arrest Long Feng and get pulled apart by good news outside the walls of Ba Sing Se - what could go wrong?

Jet shows up out of nowhere to help Team Avatar find Appa, but something isn't quite right with him. Turns out he's been brainwashed by Long Feng after being arrested by the Dai Li! Once the group figures this out, they still do everything they can to find the missing flying bison, including taking a nice holiday to Lake Laogai. In the meantime, Zuko grapples with what to do now that he knows the Avatar is right under his nose in Ba Sing Se. Join Karl (Airbender) and Mary-Kate (Firebender) as they start asking themselves the big questions...

We've all been missing everyone's favourite furry flying bison buddy and wondering how he's been faring after being kidnapped. Join Karl (Airbender) and Mary-Kate (Firebender) as they hitch a ride on Appa to recount the many trials and tribulations he experienced after being captured by the Sandbenders in 'Appa's Lost Days'. 

It's a long, long way to Ba Sing Se but we are here baby! This episode is fully dedicated to 'The Tales of Ba Sing Se' where we catch beautiful glimpses into our heroes' adventures in the grand Earth Kingdom capital city of Ba Sing Se. Join Karl (Airbender), Mary-Kate (Firebender) and London the puppy (Squeakbender) as they navigate this stellar episode. Please pardon the squeaks. ;)

Team Avatar has to get creative to stop Team Azula from drilling into the outer wall of Ba Sing Se, while an inopportune tea heating gets Uncle Iroh in even hotter water with Jet in 'The Drill'. Then in 'City of Walls and Secrets' Team Avatar struggles to find anyone who will listen to the warning they bring... after all, there is no war in Ba Sing Se. Join Karl (Airbender) and Mary-Kate (Firebender) as they continue their search for Appa and try to get an audience with the Earth King.

Our heroes are stranded in 'The Desert' with Appa nowhere to be found and when Aang finds out the sandbenders muzzled Appa he gets so angry he goes into the Avatar State; and then in 'The Serpent's Pass' the gang has to navigate their way through a narrow, treacherous piece of land to get to the outer wall of Ba Sing Se. As it turns out, Uncle Iroh and Zuko are also on their way to Ba Sing Se and in an interesting turn of events, they meet Jet and his Freedom Fighters.

Training is underway for our hero and our antihero in 'Bitter Work'. While Aang is learning how to earth bend from Toph our boy Zuko is finally learning how to lightening bend from Iroh. And in 'The Library' the gang enjoys a series of holidays that land them in Wan Shi Tong's library where they find out about a crucial weakness to the Fire Nation - but the trip comes at a great cost. Join Karl (Airbender) and Mary-Kate (Firebender) as they learn the fighting styles of the four nations and hang out with the Knowledge Seekers.

Zuko has set out on his own and faces some hurtful memories from his past in 'Zuko Alone' (which is Mary-Kate's favourite episode of the series so far); and then the hunt is on in 'The Chase' as Team Azula tracks down our gAang of heroes by following Appa's shedding fur. Join Karl (Airbender) and Mary-Kate (Firebender) as they march toward a very climatic moment that brings all our main characters together for the first of many epic showdowns.

Our heroes attend 'Avatar Day' and learn that justice is in the eye of the beholder while getting a surprise visit from Avatar Kyoshi; and then the gang finally finds Aang an unexpected Earth bending master while attending Earth Rumble 6 in 'The Blind Bandit'. Join sibling benders Karl (Airbender) and Mary-Kate (Firebender) while they meet the latest addition to Team Avatar.

In 'Return to Omashu', King Bumi's city has been capture and occupied by the Fire Nation. With the help of the resistance, our heroes aid in getting the citizens evacuated. Meanwhile Azula visits some old friends (Mai and Ty Lee) whom she recruits to join Team Azula. In 'The Swamp', Aang is drawn to a mystical swamp where the crew sees visions, learns that time and death are illusions and meet some river swamp Waterbenders. Join Karl (Airbender) and Mary-Kate (Firebender) as they discuss it all - even James Cameron's plagiarism. 

They're back! Book two baby! Our heroes make their way back to King Bumi so Aang can master Earthbending but get sidetracked by General Fong and his tactics to manipulate Aang into 'The Avatar State' while Azula tries to trick Zuko and Iroh into a return home; and then our trio joins up with a group of hippy-dippy, music-loving nomads to travel through 'The Cave of Two Lovers' and we find out Aang would rather kiss Katara than die. Join sibling benders Karl (Airbender) and Mary-Kate (Firebender) as they kick off their second season. 

Grab a drink and pop on the "classic" 2010 "film", The Last Airbender, written, directed and co-produced by M. Night Shyamalan. In this special episode Karl (Airbender) rants and raves in literal anger and Mary-Kate (Firebender) exhibits genuine confusion and disappointment over nearly element of this "film". Join the siblings for this bizarre watch-along. Did we mention you should grab a drink? You know what, grab the bottle.

The Fire Nation armada, led by Admiral Zhao, zeroes in on the Northern Water Tribe while our heroes fight to save the day. In these jam-packed episodes Aang goes into the Spirit World to seek wisdom, Zuko kidnaps Aang and is bested by Katara, and Sokka loses Princess Yue as she fulfills her duty to her people, restoring balance between the Sun & Moon. We visit the Northern Air Temple and save it from the clutches of the Fire Nation (while making a critical military error in the process) and then finally make it to the Northern Water Tribe where Katara is turned away from training because she's a girl - and that ain't right! Join Mary-Kate (Firebender) and Karl (Airbender) once more for the penultimate podcast episode of season one! 

This week isn't a good look for Aang, but here on Everything Changed we love a fallible hero! Join Mary-Kate (Firebender) and Karl (Airbender) for 'Bato of the Water Tribe' where they get word of Sokka and Katara's dad and learn about strength in working together; and 'The Deserter' where they explore the importance of discipline and self-control. 

Aang is kidnapped by Admiral Zhao but rescued (sort of) by the Blue Spirit in 'The Blue Spirit'; and then the gang gets wrapped up in the art of fortunetelling, just in time to save an earth kingdom town from an erupting volcano in 'The Fortuneteller'. Join Mary-Kate (Firebender) and Karl (Airbender) while they tackle both episodes, exploring their favourite moments, themes and other observations.

It was one of the worst of episodes, it was one of the best of episodes. Join Mary-Kate (Firebender) and Karl (Airbender) as they discuss getting along and the lonely road of the peacemaker in 'The Great Divide'; and then tackle their favourite episode so far - 'The Storm' - where they see Aang and Zuko both weathering their own literal and metaphorical storms.

Zuko and Iroh shop till they drop, Katara gets jealous, Aang acquires a unique flute, Sokka uses his instincts and we meet the Freedom Fighters. Join sibling benders Mary-Kate (Firebender) and Karl (Airbender) as they dissect, discuss and make unrelatable inside jokes for 'The Waterbending Scroll' and 'Jet'.  

Get trippy with us as we journey into the Spirit World and back to learn about the importance of respecting and protecting nature, meet Avatar Roku, get some intel on a super important comet and enjoy the firebending back-to-back styling of Prince Zuko and Uncle Iroh. 

Sibling benders Mary-Kate (Firebender) and Karl (Airbender) take a trip with our trio of heroes to Omashu to visit the buff King Bumi in 'The King of Omashu' and then a small village to help out the wholesome Haru in 'Imprisoned'. They learn lots... like the value of shopping locally and why the cabbage sales industry is under pressure.
