Explore the Neuroverse

A space to understand neurodiversity, together. Explore the Neuroverse creates space for open, honest conversations that go beyond labels and into real life. Neurodiversity shapes how we think, feel and move through the world, yet too many people still feel unseen, misunderstood or alone. Each episode explores the realities behind the labels, from parenting and education to identity, relationships, work and everyday life. Through lived experiences, expert insight and relatable guidance, we open conversations that make complexity clearer and connection stronger. Real voices, real stories, real understanding.

Getting to Know the UNICUS Collective

Getting to Know the UNICUS Collective. Jennifer talks with Yvonne Barker-Leighton on her path from finance to advocacy. We trace her journey from recognising 'mathematical geniuses' in hedge funds to her son's autism diagnosis. We explore the 'grieving period', school systems and the shift from trying to 'fix' a child to embracing 'brilliance'. Through 'UNICUS Collective', Yvonne shares the community she once lacked. A testament to being 'different but not less'.

    Meet Your Host

Be Yourself, Unapologetically. To survive talking to a camera, Jennifer brings in her close friend Aimee as a 'body double'. Together they discuss late-diagnosed ADHD, sensory overwhelm and raising a neurodiverse family. From childhood fabric meltdowns to life with an ADHD brain that is either fully on or off, Jennifer shares her experience with honesty, humour and a call to stop masking.

    3 Busy Brains

Finding Connection in Shared Experience - Jennifer is joined by Yvonne Barker-Layton and Sarah Youssef for a conversation about connection, community and why no family should face neurodiversity alone. This episode explores parenting neurodivergent children, late diagnoses, masking, burnout and relief of being truly understood without explanation. It also introduces the 3 Busy Brains; a growing movement designed to provide practical, meaningful support for neurodiverse families.
