Jesús Estrada is the Director of Student Success & Retention at the University of Northern Iowa. As a first-generation Latino college student, he pursued his Ed.D. (a Doctoral degree). His mission is to pay it forward and help others succeed. We talk about our experiences in college, some barriers we face, and what it means to get a degree as Latinos. Enjoy!
