I coined the term 'fauxnetics' as a portmanteau of faux (imitation) and phonetics (the study of speech in language). The name came from the idea that it's too difficult to hear, and properly speak, when the music is good and loud. Gibberish, hand-motions, and doing your best to sing along to the lyrics is what adds to a fun musical experience; hence, why it's my name!
