    The Tonsil and Adenoid Conversation No One Is Having | 185

    We keep getting asked about swollen tonsils and adenoids and related symptoms, so today we are having the conversation no one is having.Because what’s happening right now is that so many parents are being told the same thing. Your child keeps getting sick. Their tonsils are enlarged. Their adenoids are swollen. Maybe they’re mouth breathing, they are not sleeping well, or maybe they are dealing with constant congestion or ear infections. And eventually the recommendation becomes removal.Which, if you have already made this decision and your child has already had their tonsils or adenoids removed, this conversation is not about judgment.     Topical Antibiotics vs Oral Antibiotics: What’s the Difference and What Does It Mean for Long Term Healing? | 184

    There are several research studies that have recently come out that show that 30 to 50 % of oral antibiotics have been unnecessarily prescribed. If we go with this lower number, 30%, this means one in three antibiotic prescriptions are unnecessary.This equals about 47 million unnecessary prescriptions per year in the United States alone. This is significant because when you are prescribed these antibiotics, you're not being educated on how they impact your internal health and your long-term health. And when it comes to topical antibiotics, no one's really taking the time to explain how those also impact your internal ecosystem.This is exactly what we are going to be covering in this episode, the difference between oral and topical antibiotics and how they impact your microbiome and your long-term health.     Learning Your Body’s Baseline (And Why It’s Normal for Your Health to Fluctuate) | 183

    In this episode, I want to invite you to start viewing your internal health through the same lens as you view your external health. Nothing is one and done. You're never done. The goal is not to be done. The goal is learning what your baseline is, what it feels like to actually live in balance, because most people have no concept of what their actual baseline is when their body is in balance. And from there, it's learning how to listen to your body and do what you need to maintain your balance. Something I wish everybody understood is that our microbiome is always fluctuating. It's influenced by the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, the chemicals that are sprayed on our food, the chemicals sprayed in the air.It's influenced by exposure to bacteria and pathogens, viruses, yeast, mold, and parasites. The health or unhealth of our relationships. It's influenced by how we experience stress and how much stress we experience. Our microbiome is very dynamic and it's always responding to so many different variables in our life.I invite you to rebalance and learn your baseline, experience balance, and then get curious. Pay attention to what fluctuations feel like for you, what they look like for your child, and stop chasing this illusion that our internal health is a one and done thing.I invite you to start living in relationship with your body instead of fighting your body. I invite you to start listening, listening to those, maybe they're quiet symptoms. Start listening with curiosity and without judgment.Let yourself dream.     Daily Anchors: Shifting Beyond the Outcome | 182

    This is our final anchor in this series, at least for now. And I want to be really intentional about how we close this chapter together. Moving on from here, we will return to our regular bi-weekly episodes. And who knows, if there is a need and if it feels aligned, I may gather these anchors into their own dedicated resource so that you can revisit them whenever you want. On a recent call I had with my personal development coach, she said to me, you know, you haven't built a business. Your business has built you. And I immediately knew exactly what she meant by this because I've always from the very beginning from that very first vivid vivid dream I had of ōNLē and the products I've known that ōNLē is much bigger than me. She went on to explain that ōNLē is its own consciousness and that I was given a really hard experience so that this consciousness ōNLē could flow through me and I could live out my life purpose of sharing this profound healing.And I know this is true for you too. Whatever you are experiencing right now, whether you are healing your child or yourself or you are expanding and stepping into the next version of yourself or building a business or experiencing a hard or very delightful time in your marriage, whatever you are experiencing in life right now, it's bigger than you.You are so brave, you are so courageous, and I am so proud of you.     When Your Child Changes Overnight. Anxiety, OCD, Tics and Understanding PANS and PANDAS | 181

    One day your child is themselves. They’re laughing, playing, arguing with their siblings, asking for snacks, being who they have always been. And then something shifts. It can feel like it happens overnight. Suddenly there is fear where there wasn’t fear before. Anxiety that doesn't make sense. Obsessive thoughts. Out of nowhere rituals and OCD like behaviors. Maybe tics. Rage that feels completely out of character. Sleep goes to heck. Separation becomes unbearable. And you’re left standing there wondering what just happened to my child.If you are listening to this and your chest feels tight because this is your story, I need you to hear me. You are not imagining this. Your child did not just decide to become someone else. And you are not dramatic for knowing something deeper is going on. I don’t care how many specialists you have gone to, how many times you have been told it’s just anxiety, just OCD, just behavior, or just a phase. When a child shifts like this, it is our responsibility as mothers to look for answers and I am so proud of you for being here. Maybe you have heard of PANS and PANDAS. Maybe you have been deep in research for months. Or maybe this is the first time you are hearing those words. PANS stands for Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome, and PANDAS stands for Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal infections. They are immune responses associated with strep bacteria, but not only the kind found in strep throat.Healing from PANS and PANDAS is not about flipping a switch. It is about restoring balance at the foundation so the body is no longer stuck in chronic immune activation.If you are navigating this right now, I see you. You are rightfully scared. The grief is unbelievably deep. Add in the exhaustion and it can feel like you will never get your child back. But your child is not broken. Their body is responding to something very real. It is communicating with you through symptoms as a way of asking for help. And when you listen to the body and support it at the root, healing becomes possible. They can and they will heal.Despite what anyone has ever told you, you are not crazy for knowing there is more to this story. And you are not powerless.     Living in Survival Mode and Learning How to Exhale Again | 179

    Most people think stress is about what’s happening right now. Their schedule, their workload, their kids, their health symptoms. But your body is not only responding to the present moment. Your nervous system is responding through a lens that was formed a very long time ago.Between the ages of zero and twelve, your subconscious was learning what was safe. What strength looked like. What you were supposed to do with pain. Who you were allowed to trust with your body. And most of us have never been taught to look back at that. We just assume stress is something we need to manage better.So I want you to pause for a minute and reflect. What was the narration around health and wellness in your home when you were a child. What happened when someone was sick. Was the message to push through. To wait it out. To toughen up. Was the message that doctors know best and questioning them is irresponsible. Was your body something you learned to listen to, or something you learned to override.This is not about fixing yourself. It is about understanding why your body has been doing exactly what it has been doing. And choosing to support it differently.For yourself.     Daily Anchors: Permission to Pause | 178

    Today’s anchor is intentionally quiet. We are practicing something simple but very powerful. Listening instead of overriding.So often, we only slow down when our bodies force us to. When we’re sick. Exhausted. Or running on empty.As women, and especially as mothers, we are so conditioned to be doing for everyone else. Holding. Managing. Anticipating. Planning. And the moment we pause, even briefly, guilt creeps in. Like we should be doing more. Like rest has to be earned.I am currently reading a book called The Relaxed Woman. And it’s been a gentle reminder that relaxation isn’t something we arrive at once everything is done. It’s something we decide is important and we must practice relaxing in our real everyday lives. This anchor is an invitation to practice that.It’s about practicing that pause before we reach a point of burnout and disregulation.This anchor is a reminder that rest is not a reward. It’s information. And listening is one of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves and those around us.When we pause, we create space.Space to respond instead of react.Space to notice what we actually need.Space for our bodies to recalibrate without being pushed.When we pause, we model regulation for the people around us.We show our children, our partners, and ourselves that it’s safe to slow down.That care doesn’t have to come from exhaustion.Together we all learn that presence is more powerful than pushing through.As you move back into your day, carry this with you.You don’t need to do more.You don’t need to prove anything.Sometimes the most supportive thing you can dois stop and listen.Pause. Thanks for listening!     Is It Safe to Heal? Or Are We Asking the Wrong Question? | 177

    There is one question underneath almost every message we receive.Is this safe?Is it safe for my child? Is it safe during pregnancy? Is it safe while breastfeeding? Is it safe if I am sick? Is it safe after chemo? Is it safe to keep taking the supplements when my child has an ear infection?My friends, we are asking the wrong question.In this episode, we are going to dive deep into the safety of rebalancing, and just as importantly, the flip side of that conversation, which is what actually happens when we leave bad bacteria, yeast, mold, fungus, parasites, heavy metals, and toxins in the body.Most people who find their way here have tried just about everything. You have likely tried every elimination diet, tried so many different supplements, you’ve spent hours and hours at appointments with different practitioners hoping someone would finally connect the dots, you’ve been told to wait it out, you’ve been told it’s normal, you’ve been told that your child will outgrow it or that your symptom will just go away with time, and you’ve probably been given medications that suppress your or your child’s symptoms but don’t actually address the root issue. So of course you’re skeptical, because when you’ve tried so many things and nothing has truly worked, it’s easy to start losing hope.I know because I was you. I was in your exact place when I was trying so desperately to heal my son. I remember thinking, if it’s really as simple as his gut needing to be rebalanced, why didn’t one of the seventeen doctors I took him to tell me about this sooner? And underneath that question was a lot of fear.Rebalancing is not about doing something extreme. We focus on what’s wrong, what needs to change, what feels hard, what still isn’t better yet.This makes sense. Our brains are wired to look for problems to solve.But when we live only in that zoomed-in space, we unintentionally give more power to what feels broken than to what is actually working.     Daily Anchors: Building Nervous System Capacity | 175

    This anchoring practice is about creating a daily habit of tuning into your nervous system with curiosity.A few years ago, one of my mentors shared something that has stayed with me. You don’t want to attune to your nervous system only when life gets hard or everything feels like it’s falling apart. You want nervous system hygiene. A daily relationship. A practice of checking in before you’re overwhelmed, reactive, or exhausted. So that when life does get hard, you don’t find yourself upside down and completely shaken.Because this is how we change generational patterns.Not in the hot moments of crisis.Crisis will happen. Life will inevitably get hard but this is not the time to try to figure out your nervous system. You don’t learn how to anchor a boat for the first time in the middle of a storm. When you’ve practiced anchoring in calm waters, you intuitively know how to respond when things get rough.It’s pretty easy to move through life when things are going well. When our health feels stable, our kids are okay, our relationships feel calm, and life isn’t asking too much of us.Our strength isn’t tested when life is easy. It’s tested when something feels uncertain. When a symptom shows up. When a child is struggling. When we’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or carrying more than we know what to do with.And in those moments, most of us instinctively look outward for support. For answers. For something to fix or soothe what we’re feeling.But one of the most powerful shifts we can make is realizing that the greatest support isn’t external. It’s internal.It’s the relationship you have with your own body. It’s whether you know how to check in. It’s whether you can notice what’s happening inside of you before you’re pushed into reaction.This is what we are doing in this practice.Just learning how to be with yourself, consistently, so that when life gets hard, you know how to loving sit with yourself and respond with confidence instead of reacting with fear.This practice is about connecting your own dots and getting curious about how your system speaks.Thanks for listening!     What to Do Before Going to Urgent Care | 174

    You don’t panic because a rash suddenly appears. Or because your child wakes up crying in pain and pulling on their ear. Or because you feel that familiar sting of a UTI coming on. The panic sets in the moment you realize you don’t know what to do next.It’s that pause. That sinking feeling of, “Do I wait this out?” “Do I need to go to urgent care?” “Is this going to get worse?” It’s not the symptom that feels overwhelming. It’s the uncertainty.This episode is here to meet you in those exact moments.I want you to be able to come back to this episode when something shows up in your body or your child’s body and feel grounded instead of panicked.     Welcome to Follow Your Gut. Daily Anchors.I’m Juniper, and I’ll be guiding you in this daily embodiment practice for grounding, expansion, and self-leadership.I have been on my own personal growth journey for a really long time. I’ve spent years learning and healing, expanding, unlearning, and rebuilding myself, and something I’ve really come to notice is that so many of the tools for growth today move incredibly fast. There is so much information, so many practices, so many insights coming at us all the time, and while so much of it is beautiful and so powerful, I’ve found it harder and harder to actually create the space to embody what I’m moving through.Personally, I have been craving an anchoring practice, something I can return to every day. And originally, this was something I was just going to record for myself as a voice note on my phone. But as I went to press record, I had this very clear, intuitive knowing that this isn’t meant to be just mine. That it isn’t just me feeling this way. As women, as mothers, and really as humans living in the world right now, our bodies were never designed for the pace we’re moving at. We’re processing more information, making more decisions, and holding more emotional weight than ever before, and without something steady to return to, it’s easy to feel unanchored, even when we’re doing all the right things.Welcome to Daily Anchors.This is designed to be a daily practice that you return to once a day for two weeks at a time. Each practice stays the same on purpose, because repetition is how the body learns safety, and safety is where real growth happens.When you come back to the same practice each day, you begin to notice how you’re changing, even though the words don’t.     There is something incredibly liberating that happens when you realize your genes are not a life sentence. We have all been told that if a gene runs in your family, you’re destined to live out the same story. Celiac. MTHFR. Hashimoto’s. Breast cancer genes.
