The Flight to the Island.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/5d6a114b Now that I had wings to fly, I summoned my Sunwing and headed toward the island to confront a Stormbird. I landed on Scalding Spear for a quick rest before navigating through heavy rain and rebel attacks. After outflying several dangerous machines near the shore, I prepared to fly across the sea to my final destination. Now that I had wings to fly, I decided to check on the Stormbird that messed up with me last time. I visited the island for a Sunwing, but the Stormbird made me escape the spot with its heavy attacks. After whistling, my Sunwing came flying to me from the nearby cliffs and picked me up on his back with a sweep of its wings. Then I started flying it real fast, feeling the rush of the wind. The ground became a distant blur of dark sand and lights of camps. When I was flying towards the island, I noticed the beautiful atmosphere that was even more stunning in heavy rain. The clouds were thick and dark, but the way the water shimmered on the Sunwing's metallic wings was breathtaking. I was flying by Scalding Spear, and this time I noticed I had a landing zone on top of the tower where I couldn't land the other time. So I tried it this time, guiding the machine down for a soft landing on the high platform. It felt great to finally stand at the very top of the spire. After landing there, I found the Sunwing was resting just like a cute pet. It was a peaceful moment away from the constant danger on the ground. So I tried a cool pose for Aloy there, standing tall beside my mount with the vast, open sky serving as a perfect background for a photo. I continued my ride and on the way I messed up with some rebels in a camp who tried to shoot me down with arrows. I saw their arrows streaking through the air, but they couldn't hit us at such a high speed. While I was close to the shore from where I had to take a boat previously to get to the island, I noticed there was this big machine that looked like a Godzilla. And there are two flying machines that look like Stormbirds that started circling our position. They were like trying to take me down with everything they had, firing electrical bursts and flames. But I was too fast for their firepower, kept tilting to dodge their predictable patterns until we were safely out of their range. I was flying above a beautiful camp there, but I didn't know if it belonged to rebels or any tribe. It looked cool from above, with its organized layout and small fires flickering in the darkness. I considered stopping, but the goal of reaching the island was more important. There's the ruins in the middle of the sea that I remembered from my past travels. I was getting attacked by a machine crocodile long back when I didn't have wings to fly over the water obstacles. Seeing the ruins now from this height made the struggle feel like a distant memory compared to the power I have now. When I was flying above the sea, I noticed there were a flock of birds flying to the opposite side. They were probably moving because they sensed a storm coming from that way and were seeking better shelter inland. At last I reached the shore and the boat that I took to get to the island in my previous attempts. I landed there just beside the boat. I think I can fly to the island this time instead of riding the boat, as the Sunwing still has plenty of energy left. Do you guys want me to take a flight or the boat ride to the island this time? Let me know in the comments. The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online. SEE YOU.

Wings of Victory.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/851d458a After completing the main quest, I flew back to the base flying the Sunwing, narrowly avoiding death during a glider test. Inside, Aloy held a tense meeting with Sylens and Tilda. Despite the high animosity between the two, Aloy forced them to cooperate and assigned them rooms within the base. And I'm sharing them for Gaming Photography Weekly Contest. The main quest, the Wings of the Ten, was finally completed and I felt a sense of accomplishment as the battle ended. I had to return to the base to share the news, so I called my mount to the high cliffs. The Sunwing pulled me up on its back and I started flying away, leaving the Grove behind as the wind rushed past me. I tried to check if I could glide down after jumping off the machine to see how much air I could catch. I died at the first try, I didn't understand why. On the second attempt, Aloy used the pullcaster to get back to the machine mid-air. I didn't try it again. On my way to the mountain, I accidentally disturbed some big machines wandering on the ground level below. They started shooting me with heavy weaponry that I had to dodge anyhow to keep the Sunwing in the air. Then I focused on the big mountain where our base was situated, keeping my eyes on the distant horizon. The flight was long, but it gave me time to process the events of the day and prepare for the conversations ahead. After getting to the mountain, I flew to the Sunwing site where I intended to land and rest my mount. The Sunwings in the area immediately started attacking me. As I don't yet know how to attack while flying this machine, or if I even have this ability, I had to find another way to handle the situation. I jumped off the machine and let it fight on its own against the wild attackers. After getting inside the base, Erend met Aloy with a frustrated look. He said Mr. Know-it-all, aka Sylens, was there and waiting to speak with her. As he didn't know what to do with the man, he sent him to wait in Aloy's room. Aloy wanted to meet Sylens in person to see what he wanted after all the trouble he had caused. It looked like he finally found a door he could open without her, standing in the middle of the room. He didn't offer any apology for his intrusion, simply waited for the conversation to begin. Then Sylens asked Aloy about her plans for the Zenith base and how they would use the new technology. Aloy warned him about betraying her again, making it very clear that his life depended on his loyalty to this cause. Aloy invited Tilda as well, who came over to join the meeting, and the room became hot as Sylens still saw her as an enemy and a threat to his own ambitions. It looked like they were about to start a fight right there. Aloy interrupted them before they could strike. I am starting to guess that Tilda is actually using Aloy to get to Sylens' weapon that has the power to defeat the Zeniths. After stopping them from a fight, Aloy asked them to go talk to Erend and tell him that Aloy said to give them rooms of their own. While they were going out, Sylens stopped to give the lady a way out fast in a show of false politeness. But Tilda asked Sylens to go out first. So, "Ladies First" didn't work well there. The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online. SEE YOU.

Blood for Blood.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/6f17df5e After Regalla's defeat, Hekarro granted Aloy the right to decide her fate. I chose to end her life, and Kotallo carried out the sentence immediately. Afterward, a messenger delivered a Focus from Sylens, who finally agreed to join Aloy's cause and meet at the base after witnessing her victory. Regalla didn't die yet from the initial fight, but she finally accepted her defeat as she knelt in the dirt. There came Kotallo to guard the enemy closely, his hand resting on his weapon to ensure she made no desperate final moves. Hekarro came to Aloy and said it was Aloy who flew on the wings of the Ten and challenged Regalla in a way no one else could. He insisted that she must decide Regalla's fate by their rights as Tenakth, mentioning he spared her once before, which only made things worse for everyone. Hekarro was also sorry to say that Regalla was once the best of his marshals before her betrayal. Aloy said she was dangerous, but maybe that was exactly what they needed for the coming war. However, I got the option to choose her path, and I chose that her life ends here. I decided that the threat she posed was too great to let her walk away a second time. It looked like Kotallo was just waiting for this moment to settle old scores. He didn't think for a second while putting his spear through Regalla's stomach and ended her life right there in the arena. After taking down Regalla and ending the threat to the tribe, Kotallo mentioned blood for blood as a final tribute to those they lost. Aloy looked at the fallen marshal and said that it was over then, signaling the end of the civil war that had torn the lands apart. After that, one of Hekarro's soldiers came over to say there was something important they needed to see in the throne room. So, they went there together. It was a man who had surrendered to their guards outside the Grove, claiming he had an urgent message for the Outlander who defeated Regalla. He gave Aloy a Focus, mentioning it was from an interested party who had been watching the battle from afar. As Aloy needed the room for herself to check the message, Hekarro ordered everyone to leave the area. He then left the throne room as well upon Aloy's request, showing his respect for her privacy and her role in saving his people. Aloy used the Focus and noticed it was like a live call from Sylens, who at last decided to do whatever Aloy asked. After seeing her defeat Regalla, he finally realized that she was the only one capable of leading the fight against the Zenith threat. Aloy convinced Sylens to meet her at the base and finally follow the person who actually knew what she was doing. The next post will be coming soon. The Ground Duel.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/dabc84c2 After being kicked off a high platform, I took cover from Regalla's special arrows before returning fire. The platform collapsed, forcing the duel onto the arena ground where I tried to use the Sunwing for an advantage. Ultimately, a mix of melee and ranged combat allowed me to pin Regalla down. After kicking Aloy off that high platform, Regalla started shooting her with arrows immediately to finish the job. Aloy took cover real fast behind some wooden crates. Taking cover was not enough because Regalla was shooting with special arrows that could break regular defenses. I realized I could not stay hidden forever, so I had to come out and shoot her back with my own bow. We traded several shots across the gap, with each arrow striking closer to the mark. When Regalla understood she was not winning this battle in this way as well, she changed her target to the environment itself. She aimed and shot the platform beneath my foot, causing the old structure to shatter into pieces. The platform collapsed completely and Aloy landed on the arena ground with a heavy thud. Regalla did not hesitate and jumped down to face her as well, landing gracefully in the sand. The duel had moved from the heights to the dusty floor of the arena, and there was nowhere left for either of us to hide. Now I finally got a chance to fight her face-to-face again, though she looked like a very tough opponent. I knew this part of the fight would require perfect timing and a lot of focus to survive. I called my Sunwing to the arena and used my pull caster to climb onto the machine's back. I was hoping I could use the machine's power to take Regalla down easily from the air or with a powerful strike. But it looked like the Sunwing was only for a ride during this specific encounter, not for direct combat action. I could not trigger any of its weapons, so I climbed down after I landed back in the arena. I realized I would have to settle this duel with my own hands and weapons. I started fighting Regalla with melee weapons, using my spear to block her strikes and find openings in her armor. Sometimes I used my ranged weapons after getting away from her to keep the pressure on. At last, after a very long and exhausting struggle, I pinned her down and ended the fight. The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online. SEE YOU.

Challenging a Tyrant.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/21678783 Seeing Hekarro's men losing, Aloy dropped the Horus energy cell to deactivate the machines. Following a rebel into the ruins, she found Regalla cornering Hekarro and Kotallo. Aloy challenged Regalla to a duel to stop the slaughter, leading to an intense melee fight where Regalla eventually pushed the battle to a new level. Seeing Hekarro's men were losing the fight against the heavy machines, Aloy dropped the Horus energy cell that the Sunwing was carrying all this time. It did something that deactivated all the machines in that area instantly, leaving the rebels without their strongest weapons. Dekka noticed it was Aloy in the air, and she understood it was finally their time to charge. With the machines down, Hekarro's men started overpowering Regalla's rebels under Dekka's command. While all those people were busy fighting outside, Aloy noticed one of the Regalla rebels was running inside the ruins. She decided to follow him to see where he was going. Inside, Regalla along with some of her rebels had cornered Hekarro and Kotallo. It looked like she was just about to take them down and finish the leadership of the tribe. The situation was very grim, and the two warriors seemed to gave up as well. Suddenly, the rebel who was running inside the ruins reached Regalla to tell her that all of the machines were down. This news confused Regalla because they did not know how it had happened so quickly. At the perfect time, Aloy entered the frame while still flying the machine. She spoke up to stop the bloodshed and mentioned she wanted to settle this conflict in a duel. Regalla said it was easy for Aloy to say such things when she was sitting safely atop a flying machine. So, Aloy jumped off the Sunwing right away to mention she didn't need any help to take Regalla down. She explained that using the machine was just to get her attention. Regalla accepted Aloy's challenge, mentioning that once she was done with her, she would get to finish the slaughter of the others. She looked confident in her own strength as she prepared for the fight. So I had to defeat Regalla in a melee fight. I started attacking her while dodging her incoming attacks with quick movements. At a point, Regalla understood I was doing good or even better than her. She became more aggressive as she realized she could not win with simple strikes. She pushed hard and kicked me off the high point to give me a new challenge from afar. The environment changed as we moved to a different part of the ruins. She started using her ranged weapons to keep me at a distance, forcing me to find a new way to close the gap. The next post will be coming soon. The Horus Energy Cell.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/1cdc425a After overriding a TallNeck, I summoned the Sunwing back and I flew to a dead Titan to retrieve a Horus energy cell before heading to Grove. Upon arrival, I witnessed a massive battle where Hekarro's men fought bravely against Regalla's rebels using heavy machines. When I was done overriding the TallNeck, I had to call the Sunwing to pick me up from the high platform. It was the same way of calling my other ground mounts. The flying machine came to me right after I whistled to it, soaring through the sky. The difference with this mount is that I don't get to jump on the machine myself. Instead, the machine pulled me up onto its back. It was a smooth transition that took me directly into the open air as we began our flight. There were other machines on the ground below, and I disturbed them as we flew past their territory. They started shooting at me with intense fire power, launching projectiles into the sky to knock me down. I just had to dodge them by tilting the wings and moving quickly to stay safe. I had to gather a Horus energy cell next, which was located northwest from the current area. Before doing that, I went to this tower of Scalding Spear, which is a Rebel Camp. I tried to land on top of the tower to get a better view, but the machine didn't allow me to touch down on that specific surface. So I left that camp alone and I flew away toward my main objective. Along the way, I passed over another camp where rebels tried to shoot me with their regular bows and arrows. Well, I found the energy cell right on a dead Titan's back, resting among the rusted metal. My machine grabbed it after I went close to the spot and hit the action button. The Sunwing held the heavy cell firmly in its claws as we lifted back into the sky to carry it toward the destination. I had to go to the Grove while taking the cell with me across the long distance. I disturbed some machines along with regular rebels on my way, and it was fun to watch them struggle to follow me from the ground. After reaching the Grove, I flew above the arena where I once fought a giant machine snake. This time, I found Regalla's rebels were fighting Hekarro's men in a massive battle. I noticed there were giant machines that the rebels were using against an army who were not using any machines at all. It looked like a very unfair fight for Hekarro's warriors. I also noticed there was Dekka fighting with great spirit in the middle of the chaos, defending her people with incredible bravery. The next post will be coming soon. Aloy's First Flight.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/ca878ff6 After meeting with Zo, I fabricated a spear upgrade to override a Sunwing. I climbed the mountain, successfully overrode a machine, and took flight in a cinematic leap. After testing the controls and flying past cheering Tenakth, I landed on a Tallneck and completed the override from its head. And I'm sharing them for Gaming Photography Weekly Contest After the meeting with Zo, I realized I actually had to fabricate and upgrade my spear to override a Sunwing. I went to the fabrication room and used the workbench to put the pieces together. I knew that being able to fly would change everything for my journey across the Forbidden West. After I was ready to override a Sunwing, I started climbing up the mountain. I could see some flying machines circling right above us in the clouds. The climb was steep and the wind was strong, but I kept moving upward until I reached the snowy peaks where the machines rested. I noticed there were three Sunwings resting around. I stayed low and crouched towards one of them very quietly so it did not get spooked and fly away. When I went close enough to the Sunwing, I used my spear to override the machine. The machine stayed completely silent as it did not notice me until the process was finished. Right after I was done overriding the machine, Aloy jumped on its back. I went for the ride and the machine jumped off the mountain in a cinematic part of the story. It was a beautiful sight as we dropped into the open air and the wings spread out wide. After the machine gave Aloy an air ride in the cinematic part, I was given its movement power. I started riding a flying machine for the first time, and it felt amazing to see the world from so high up. I could move in any direction I wanted now. I was instructed to get somewhere while flying the machine, but at first, I was checking on its functions. I wanted to see how it handled in the air. It looked like I could try a cool flick ability that helped the machine move more quickly. I hovered in the air, staring at the sun for a moment while I was getting a hang on the machine's controls. The light was very bright and reflected off the machine's wings. It was a peaceful moment before I headed toward my next major objective. I had to fly towards a Tallneck like Tilda suggested me to. When I was flying close by a Tenakth group, they were cheering at the sight of me flying a machine. It felt like a heroic moment for me as I soared over their camp. After flying for a moment, I got close to the Tallneck. I was asked to land on it after getting close to its head. I steered the Sunwing carefully and landed perfectly on the flat platform. After landing on the head of the Tallneck, I had to override it. I just noticed that there was a Tallneck close by that I had not overridden yet. After I was done overriding it, I just stopped there to check around the beautiful view. The next post will be coming soon. A Final Goodbye.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/870e0af6 Aloy returned to the base and shared an emotional hug with Zo to remember Varl. After planning the next mission, Zo led Aloy to Varl's grave on the edge of a hill. Zo revealed she was pregnant with Varl's child, and Aloy promised to protect them both. I had to get back to the base to meet up with the rest of the team. The group was trying to talk through various things while they waited for Aloy to arrive. There was a lot of tension in the room as they discussed their next steps without their leader being present yet. Suddenly, Aloy reached the perimeter, which attracted everyone's attention immediately. The first thing Aloy did was give a big hug to Zo. It was a very emotional moment because Zo was the closest person to Varl during his last days, and they both missed him very much. After the hug, Aloy told the team about her next plan for the mission. As the meeting ended, Zo asked Aloy to meet her outside the base. It seemed like she had something very urgent and personal to discuss away from the rest of the group. I went out of the base and started looking for Zo. While I walked, I noticed that this part of the mountain was decorated a little bit. I used the photo mode to look around and eventually found Zo at a side of the hill. I reached Zo and another cinematic part began. Zo said she used to watch the sunrise with Varl from that exact point on the hill. She also mentioned that they had buried Varl right there, making it a very sacred and quiet spot for her. After a brief conversation, Zo revealed that she was pregnant with Varl's child. This news made Aloy feel happy but also very sad. It was a tragedy that Varl never got to know the good news about starting a family before he passed away. As Zo left Aloy behind to go back inside, Aloy stayed by the grave. She looked at the site and promised Varl that she would look after Zo and the child. Then Aloy left the peaceful place to go toward her next mission. The next post will be coming soon. The Locked Override.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/c65b0fce I rode the wrong way before returning to the area where a large bird machine attacked me. I found a campsite to save my game and then snuck up on a sunbathing Sunwing. I realized I could not override it yet, so I left it alone and fast-traveled back to my base. And I'm sharing them for the Gaming Photographs. I realized I was in the wrong spot, so I decided to ride toward the Sunwing side this time. I tried to use the path guarded by the big machine. But I noticed it was the wrong way and I had to turn back. It was a bit confusing to find the right trail. I had to ride back toward the path where the big bird machine attacked me last time. It was trying to attack me again because the big machine already signaled my location to it. I had to be very careful as the predator circled above me, looking for a chance to strike while I was out in the open. I somehow managed to dodge the fast attacks of the bird and reached a new forest after taking down some smaller machines on my way. I started running on foot because I thought the Sunwing site was close by. I did not want to spook them. I realized I was actually heading for a campsite to save my game and unlock a fast travel point. From the camp, I noticed I was on the other side of the beach where the big machine was guarding. I could even see the big bird from there. This time I was heading in the right direction, or at least I hoped I was. There were many more machines scattered along my path, but I decided to ignore them instead of fighting. At last, I reached the Sunwing site and found one of the machines having a sunbathe. I started walking toward it very quietly so it would not hear me coming. I wanted to get close enough without making it fly away or start a fight with me in the area. After hiding in the tall grass, I used the photo mode to check on the machine bird. It looked awesome in the light, but I noticed I could not override it yet. I left it without getting its attention because I did not want to kill it. I thought I might need to use it later, so I left it as it was. It was already daytime, and before I left the place, I took a moment to stare at the beautiful view of the world. On my way out, I ran into a machine crocodile and decided to attack it before heading to a nearby campfire for a quick exit. I used the campfire to fast travel back near my base. After I got there, I noticed there was a Sunwing flying right around the mountain of my base. I realized there was a Sunwing site right at the easiest spot while I had been trying to find them the hardest way possible. The next post will be coming soon. The Search for a Sunwing.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/ea0cf40b I talked to Tilda and then I went to the beach instead of going home. I wanted to find a Sunwing to try my new override power that I got from Beta. I went to a beach at night and saw a big machine. A bird from a tower saw me and tried to kill me. I finished talking to Tilda and I had to go back to my base. But I decided to go to a different place first because I wanted to try overriding a flying machine. The ocean looked very good from the high mansion. I jumped off the side and used my glider to fly through the air and land on the sand by the water. I landed near the beach and I saw some machines there. I thought they were going to be hard to kill, but I took them down easily and kept riding ahead, leaving the shore behind. I faced some very big machines on my way that tried to hit me. I did not want to fight them right then, so I just ignored them and kept going very fast. I used a campfire to travel to the island so I could find a bird. I was happy to try the new override power that Beta gave to me during our last talk. I saw more machines while I was looking for the Sunwing site. I hit them and did a lot of damage so I could pass and keep looking for my target. It was already nighttime when I got to a far beach. I saw a very big machine and a small one walking on the sand, which looked very dangerous in the dark. I saw a bird sitting on a high tower far away. I thought it was the bird I wanted as my mount, so I decided to go toward it and try to catch it. I killed the small machine on the beach very quietly. But the big machine saw the dead body on the sand and started to attack me with a lot of rage. I was not ready to fight that big machine at all. I ran away as fast as I could, and I was confused when it seemed to stop following me so quickly. I went into the forest to hide, but then something hit me from the sky. I realized the machine from the beach was still mad and it was still trying to find me. I saw it was not the machine from the beach, but the bird from the tower. It came down from the sky to hunt me because the other machine gave it a signal. I hid in the long grass for a very long time. The bird was looking for me from the sky, and I saw it was the wrong kind of bird for my power to override. I waited for the bird to fly away to the other side, and then I ran. I went very far away so the bird could not see me or find me anymore. Then I checked on my future hunt for one last time. The next post will be coming soon. The Projection of Hope.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/73a3abb3 I explored Tilda's private exhibition before confronting her about the Zenith betrayal. Tilda returned Aloy's repaired Focus, expressing admiration for her achievements. After a heated debate, Tilda opened a data channel to Beta, allowing Aloy to promise a rescue and reveal her plan to seize Sylens's weapon. On my way to meet Tilda, I found an exhibition space filled with her favorites from her collection. She had secured and stored these treasures here just before she went off-world centuries ago. Without wasting time at the exhibition site, I ran directly toward Tilda and found her waiting. Aloy started the discussion with a sharp question about how Tilda had managed to find them at the cauldron. After some talking, Tilda offered Aloy some breakfast to steady her, and Aloy followed her to the table. However, she refused to sit down or have a friendly chat after everything the Zeniths had done. Tilda insisted the others were not her people. To bridge the gap, she gave Aloy her old Focus, which Tilda had personally repaired. The Focus showed images of Aloy's childhood. Tilda mentioned that what Aloy accomplished in two decades was more than Tilda had done with a thousand years at her back, which clearly impressed her. After a brief conversation with some meal, Aloy wanted Tilda to open a data channel to talk to Beta. Tilda initially rejected the idea because they might be detected by the other Zeniths. Aloy mentioned the risks were necessary for survival, and Tilda finally opened the channel. It allowed Aloy to see Beta, who looked like she was in a state of virtual reality dissociation to cope with her situation. Beta responded, saying they were watching her and she couldn't hold the extra projection for long. She projected a version of herself, and Aloy promised her sister that she would get her out of there. Tilda asked what they were planning. Aloy mentioned she was going to take Sylens's army away since she only needed the weapon he made to penetrate the Zeniths shields. She confirmed she would use the override Beta gave her at Gemini and ended the conversation. The next post will be coming soon. A Warrior's Bravery.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/c6350ce8 As Beta revealed the ability to override Sunwings, the Zeniths launched a brutal assault on the facility. Despite a brave defense, Erik murdered Varl and captured Beta, leaving Aloy devastated. Unexpectedly, Tilda intervened to save Aloy, transporting her to a secure, high-tech sanctuary to recover and regroup. After finishing the merge, Beta found a hologram of a Sunwing and projected it for Aloy. It was a clear sign that I would soon be able to override these flying machines and soar above the world. The celebration was cut short when the Zeniths suddenly broke into the facility. One of them spoke with an air of superiority, making it clear they had been tracking our progress for a long time. Aloy stepped forward to defend the core with her bow, but the Zeniths' technology was far beyond ours. One of them fired an explosive that knocked her back instantly. As Aloy hit the ground, Varl bravely stepped up to shield her and Beta. Beta hovered behind him, her face filled with terror as the invincibility of their attackers became clear. Erik, one of the most sadistic Zeniths, was ordered to retrieve Beta and squash Varl. Varl tried to use the environment to his advantage, bringing a heavy machine down on Erik to pin him. The trap didn't hold him for long. Erik jumped out from the wreckage with a terrifying rage and lunged at Varl, who desperately tried to defend himself with his spear. Erik smiled as he overpowered and killed Varl. It was a heavy moment; even though Varl could be annoying at times, seeing him go down like that while trying to be a hero was genuinely painful. With Varl dead, Erik seized Beta. She begged Aloy to do something as she was dragged away, but Aloy was pinned down and powerless, left to weep as her sister was taken. Tilda was ordered to prepare Gaia and Hephaestus for transport, but she went rogue. She told Aloy that all is not lost and did something that whisked Aloy away to safety. Aloy woke up in a strange, pristine location. Tilda's voice echoed through the room, explaining that they were safe from the other Zeniths and asking her to come meet her whenever she felt ready to talk. The next post will be coming soon. The Slaughterspine's Wrath.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/de9224e2 I fought an intense battle against a Slaughterspine, utilizing its charging moments to land critical hits. After a grueling struggle, I defeated the machine and overrode the generator. Returning to the core, Beta successfully contained Hephaestus, and Aloy assisted her in the delicate process of merging its functions with Gaia. I never thought fighting this Slaughterspine would be this difficult. The machine was relentless, throwing every plasma attack and physical strike it had at me while I tried to keep my pace. There were moments where it felt like the machine was doing everything possible to take me down. I could hardly find the space to fight back against its constant pressure. I realized the best time to strike was when the machine was charging up its energy. Those brief windows were my only real chance to deal significant damage before it unleashed its full power. Once the Slaughterspine was fully charged, its wrath was incredible. I had to stay perfectly active to avoid being vaporized, but I kept pushing through and landed several heavy hits. After a very long and exhausting fight, the machine finally collapsed. I walked right up to its scary-looking mouth to inspect the damage before looting the massive carcass for parts. With the threat neutralized, I moved to override the generator coupling. Hephaestus was finally forced back into the core, its primary defenses within the Cauldron broken. I returned to find Varl and Beta. Beta confirmed that Hephaestus was 100% contained and immediately asked Gaia to establish the link to begin the merge process. To finish the merge, they had to carefully excise the malicious code Hephaestus had integrated into its systems. Beta handled the complex technical work while Aloy did her best to follow along and assist. The next post will be coming soon. Dueling the Apex Clawstrider.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/9b839d84 Aloy navigated through a gap in the energy shield to reach the cooldown chambers, where she faced a deadly mix of Spikesnouts and a Fire Bellowback. After a grueling battle with an Apex Clawstrider, I used a Shock Boltblaster to secure the area. Finally, the massive Slaughterspine was unleashed in the assembly chamber. After overriding the first uplink, I had to find a way into the cooldown chambers. The energy shield was blocking the direct path, and I spent quite a bit of time searching for a way around its perimeter. I finally found a high vantage point that allowed me to jump across a small gap in the shield. I landed on the other side safely, though I had no idea what kind of reception Hephaestus had prepared for me. As soon as I arrived, I was surrounded by dangerous machines. A Spikesnout immediately caught my attention as the primary threat, as its buffs can make the other machines much harder to deal with. A Fire Bellowback started raining flames down on my position, making it impossible to stay still. I pivoted my focus and targeted its cargo sac, causing a massive explosion that took it out of the fight quickly. With the Bellowback gone, I went back to finishing off the Spikesnout. It wasn't quite as tough as I initially feared once I was able to focus my fire without being burned alive. The real challenge was the Apex Clawstrider. It was incredibly fast and hit like a truck, so I struggled for a while until I pulled out the Shock Boltblaster. Paralyzing it with electricity finally gave me the opening I needed to win and override the uplink. With the cooldowns handled, I returned to the main assembly chamber to corner Hephaestus. That’s when the massive machine on the assembly line finally broke free—a Slaughterspine, the first one I've ever had to fight. The next post will be coming soon. Into the Heart of the Cauldron.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/64e0f1dc I pursued Hephaestus deep into a Cauldron, navigating dangerous drops and production chambers. After a failed attempt to glide through an electrified shield, I rode metal carriers to reach a new area. Despite an ambush by a Grimhorn and secondary defenses, I fought through the machines to continue the override. I had to pursue Hephaestus into the depths of the Cauldron. Leaving the heavy weaponry and the rest of the team behind, I started pushing forward into the unknown. I was in such a rush that I actually fell and died twice in this section. On my third attempt, I took things a bit slower and finally managed to safely reach the other side. I found a massive production chamber where Hephaestus was clearly hard at work. Beta asked what kind of machine was being built, and while Aloy didn't have a specific answer, she was determined to destroy it regardless. I tried to use the pullcaster and glide to float inside, but I hit an electrified shield instead. The shock sent Aloy reeling, proving that Hephaestus was well-prepared for any intruders. To force Hephaestus back to the core, I had to follow the conveyor system. I caught a ride on one of the large metal carriers, using it as a moving platform to cross the gap. While still hanging from the carrier, I spotted a machine directly below me. I went for an aerial silent strike, but the machine was unexpectedly tough and survived the initial blow. My strategy had to shift immediately as more machines joined the fray. I took a fair amount of damage while trying to manage the crowd, but I kept pushing through the chaos. Once the immediate threats were cleared, I moved to the network uplink to begin the override. Just as I started, Hephaestus activated countermeasures and deployed a set of secondary defenses to stop me. A Grimhorn appeared alongside a swarm of other machines, significantly increasing the pressure. The Cauldron floor became a frantic battleground as I dodged their heavy attacks. Since I was playing on the easiest difficulty, I felt confident enough to get in close. I stayed aggressive, attacking the machines at point-blank range until the secondary defenses were finally neutralized. The next post will be coming soon. The Containment Breach.
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=frankevor/4377ba8d I met Gaia and started the big mission to Gemini. After a long ride through the night, the team reached the facility and got into position. Things went wrong when Hephaestus escaped and forced the machines to fight us. I had to take down a Behemoth and a Ravager to keep everyone safe. And I'm sharing them for the Gaming Photographs. Gaia asked me to meet her once I was ready for the big mission. I went to her and decided to head straight to Gemini since I had everything prepared and was ready to move forward. The whole team was shown riding their mounts through the night in a somber cinematic. The atmosphere felt heavy as they traveled toward the facility under the moonlight. The night slowly faded into morning as they kept riding across the landscape. They picked up the pace midway through the journey to ensure they reached the objective on time. After reaching the facility, Varl, Aloy, and Alva set up their machines during the cinematic sequence. Everything was being prepared for the containment process to begin. Aloy had to make sure the others were ready for their parts of the plan. All the team members, who had split up to different spots, confirmed they were in position and ready to go. After Gaia started the containment sequence, Hephaestus detected a critical threat and escaped. It launched countermeasures while Gaia fought off malware, which caused the nearby machines to turn aggressive and attack us. The team got ready to fight as a big Behemoth and a Ravager appeared. Both machines were strong enough to wipe out the whole team if we weren't careful. I made the Behemoth my first target. I attacked it with all my power and managed to take it down real fast before it could do too much damage to the group. Then I used the Ravager's cannon, which I had detached from it earlier, against the machine itself. I took it down quickly and neutralized the immediate threat to the team.
