Freakuency

In this episode we get into stories from our childhood, memories from growing up, and some conversations that might be a little too honest. The discussion moves through funny moments, darker memories, and the kinds of things people usually keep to themselves. As the conversation unfolds things get more real and unfiltered, eventually leading to some tension. It’s one of those episodes where the laughs, the honesty, and the emotions all end up in the same room.

In this episode we bounce from Christian’s synchronicity stories to Super Bowl controversy, where we give our takes on Bad Bunny’s halftime show, plus a heavy dose of classic movie nostalgia. Don’t expect a deep-dive on any one topic though — this one moves like real conversation, jumping from one subject to another with hilarious personal side stories, random memories, and plenty of laughs along the way. Nothing stays too serious for long — just real talk, funny detours, and that classic Freakuency energy.

We also talk about learning new languages—what we’re curious about and which languages we’d want to learn.Then Vaughn brings up being on the fence about finally pulling the trigger on building a gaming rig. To close it out, we shift into creative mode and make plans to write and record a song together.

This one’s a rabbit hole: we get into Flat Earth theory and take our best shot at some hard-to-answer questions. Then we talk mediumship—what we think of it, what we’d want to ask, and how we’d even approach it—with a psychic visit coming up this weekend. Vaughn discusses his meditation practice and upcoming retreat with his brothers, and we round it out with some nostalgia (cartoons and shows we grew up on) plus a few other tangents.

We talk about our creative work—some projects we’re proud of and some we cringe at. Julian also tells the story of the ‘store’ he built while locked up, trading artwork for food.
