Lorinda is Back
After a four-month hiatus from the mic, I’m back with an update on what’s been happening behind the scenes. In July, I underwent a three-level disc replacement surgery, expecting to bounce back in 30 days. Instead, I woke up unable to move my arms, and everything changed. In this episode, I’m sharing the physical, emotional, and spiritual rollercoaster of recovery, from pain and frustration to deep gratitude. This episode isn’t about being polished or having it all together. It’s about what happens when life forces you to slow down, surrender, and relearn what really matters. I talk about grief, healing, faith, and why showing up for others. If you’ve ever been sidelined by something unexpected, felt fear creeping in, or struggled to ask for help, this one’s for you. Part 1: From Drugs & Bad Choices to Giving It All to GOD with Brad Glenn from Cactus Alley
This week’s episode is part one of a powerful, real, and redemptive conversation with someone I call “Rad Brad.” Brad Glenn’s journey is anything but ordinary—from West Texas roots and wild rodeo days to addiction, jail time, and ultimately, a radical transformation through faith and purpose.Brad opens up about the early seeds of addiction, how he spiraled from alcohol to drugs, and the moments that nearly broke him. He shares the sobering reality of hitting rock bottom, facing prison, losing friends, and being totally consumed by fear, anger, and addiction. But more than that, he walks us through what it looked like to find his way back through grace, grit, and a whole lot of divine intervention.Today, Brad is the founder of Cactus Alley Hat Co. and BG Custom Boots, where he uses his business as a ministry offering second chances and building community. His story is raw but ultimately hope-filled.
