From Here to Now: Immigrant Life in the States.
by From Here to Now
From Here to Now aims to shed light on the many confusing, complex processes that are a part of the journey of immigrating to America, but we also hope to showcase the personal stories that emerge from such narratives. Where there are successful tales of obtaining H1B visas and receiving long-awaited green cards, there are also stories of hardship, struggle, and the resulting resilience and determination that arise. Where there is toil and strife, diligence and perseverance, there are also a multitude of other individuals who have experienced the same, and yet lived out their lives as immigrants in a completely different manner. Altogether, we hope to craft a well-rounded portrait of what it’s like to come to America and find yourself––slowly but surely––defining what it means to be American in your own right. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––Music Used: 1) For Mimi by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license (https://creat
