LUSTerina (We Must FLEE)
In this deeply personal episode, Lusterina, I explore the tension between desire and divinity the ways lust can both wound and awaken us. Through my own story of childhood abuse, teenage secrecy, and the slow work of redemption, I uncover what happens when the fire that once consumed you becomes the light that refines you. This isn’t just about lust it’s about Lusterina: the glow that remains after God redeems the parts of us we thought were too dark to be seen. From the weight of desire (Carat), to the wound of experience (Cut), to the surrender that brings healing (Clarity), this episode is a testimony of how confession, community, and grace can turn shame into shine.Because God doesn’t change your nature, he redeems it. And even lust, in His hands, can become light

Divine Bloomer 🌺 🌸 🌹
Embracing the Beauty of Blooming in Your Own TimeHave you ever felt behind in life, watching others hit milestones while you’re still figuring things out? In this episode of From Gem to Jewels, we’re diving into the journey of being a Divine Bloomer, not late, but right on time.I open up about my personal experience navigating life as a so-called late bloomer, from the challenges of dating to redefining what it means to be "ready" for love, career, and self-discovery. Growing up in a Caribbean household, I was shielded from certain experiences, only to be abruptly questioned about my lack of dating experience once I reached adulthood. The contrast was jarring—one minute, I was being told to focus on school, and the next, I was expected to have my life, love, and future family all figured out.But what does being ready even mean? And who sets that timeline?Through moments of rejection, self-doubt, and societal pressure, I’ve learned that our timelines are uniquely ours. Rejection, which once felt like a roadblock, became a gift that shaped my resilience. And fear, especially fear rooted in my diagnosis of PCOS, once held power over me, dictating my thoughts about my body, my worth, and my future as a woman. The fear wasn't just about my health; it was about what that diagnosis meant in a culture where womanhood is often equated with fertility.I share a pivotal moment in my journey, an unexpected conversation with a friend that made me confront the deep-seated fears I had been carrying for years. For the first time, I had to ask myself: Where did this fear originate? And more importantly, why had I given it so much power? In this episode, we explore: ✨ The beauty of embracing your unique timeline ✨ How rejection can be a hidden blessing ✨ Breaking free from inherited fears and projections ✨ Navigating cultural and familial expectations around womanhood ✨ The difference between planting seeds of growth vs. weeds of doubt. The lesson? Blooming late isn’t a setback, it’s divine timing. Whether it's self-care, dating, financial stability, or walking in your purpose, everything unfolds as it should. As Rumi said, "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."So, I leave you with this question: What have you been watering? Your fears or your faith? Because whatever you nurture will grow.Tune in, reflect, and remember there’s no such thing as being late when you’re blooming right on time. 💎✨

Gem to Jewels – Episode 1: Testimony & GPS 📍**** Disclaimer This episode contains discussions on sensitive topics, including child abuse and molestation. We understand that these subjects can be distressing or triggering for some listeners. My goal in addressing these issues is to foster awareness, healing, and meaningful dialogue, but I acknowledge the deeply personal impact such topics may have.Listener discretion is advised. If you find these topics triggering, please take care of yourself and consider whether listening is right for you at this time. If you or someone you know needs support, we encourage reaching out to trusted resources or professional help. Before you start any journey, you have to drop the pin be honest about exactly where you are. Not where you think you should be. Not where you wish you were. But the real, raw truth. In this debut episode, I take you through my own journey of transparency and transformation, unpacking the weight I carried for years from childhood wounds and body image struggles to confronting deep-seated trauma and finally setting myself free.Growing up plus-size, dark-skinned, and Caribbean in Miami came with its own set of challenges. Beauty standards were loud, critiques even louder. Family, strangers—even women at the salon—offered bleaching creams and weight comments like casual conversation. But what hit the hardest? The silence surrounding real pain. The things I was taught to bury.I break down how a random work conversation cracked open a truth I had kept locked away for decades. How I spent years rehearsing every possible outcome before finally telling my parents about the trauma I endured as a child. How the pandemic forced me to face myself, stop running, and finally release what wasn’t mine to carry anymore.Through grace, purpose, and surrender, I’ve learned that healing isn’t about having all the answers it’s about showing up, even when you’re afraid. And that’s what From Gem to Jewels is all about. So here’s the first Jewel I’m sharing with you: Healing begins the moment you decide to be honest.✨ Tune in and let’s start the journey. ✨
