Capturing a Special Date: Seafood Trip with My Son!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/c05307b9 Hello Hive Family! I am excited to share a video of our seafood adventure at the Farmers Market Cubao. I have to say, my son isn't usually comfortable being on camera, so I'm really happy he let me capture this moment. I totally respect his space, which is why you will see more of the delicious food than his face! We decided to dine at JONNA Seafoods, and I highly recommend this place if you are planning to visit Farmers Cubao Market. The food was delicious, and we both enjoyed our meal a lot. Have you ever been to the Farmers Market in Cubao? What's your preferred dish there? Boiled seafood or grilled seafood? Have a wonderful day, everyone! I hope you enjoy watching our short video. 🦐

Want to be silly with my son! :-)
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/74456756 Hello Hive! I would like you all to meet my son... hehe~!!! Please forgive the shaky video quality: I was trying to have some fun with him, but I failed miserably! He was way too shy. Since I couldn't get a good shot of him posing, I decided to steal a candid video of him doing the dishes instead. This is a special memory for us. One day, when he is older, he can look back and see himself at this age. He is turning 16 on May 10th! He is grown so tall and handsome (of course, I am a bit biased, hehe). As a mother, I couldn't be prouder of the person he is becoming. I hope you enjoy the video and pics!

My Brother's Big Day!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/9bacc05f Hello everyone, I am happy to share this video celebrating another milestone in the life of my family: my brother's wedding on December 20th, 2025! Actually, I had already written about this happy event but today I finally edited the video, too! After 21 years of building a life together under one roof, they have finally received their blessings and are now officially married! They already have three beautiful children, and this is their first wedding. It was always my dream to see them officially married. For me, it was about more than just tradition; it was about the security and stability it would bring to our family. It also means so much to my parents, who are already getting on in years. They are so relieved and happy to still witness their son's wedding. And of course, there are also practical reasons: here in the Philippines, a marriage certificate is essential for our children's future. They need it for college applications, job requirements, and so many other official processes. We are already hoping that they will have a second wedding someday to celebrate their oldest child's anniversary! Thank you so much for all your support. For now, just enjoy watching the video and the pictures!

The Butterfly Garden in La Mesa Ecopark!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/03a2d0de Hello Hive Family! 🐝 As always, I have a lot of stories to share—but before anything else, I want to greet everyone a Happy Chinese New Year! I wish you all a wonderful and prosperous Year of the Horse! Thank you so much for your continuous support. 💖 Now, for today's story: I visited La Mesa Ecopark here in Quezon City. It was my first time, and it felt like discovering a secret oasis in the middle of the busy city! The park spans 33 hectares of beautiful greenery, but the best part—and my happiest moment—was the Butterfly Garden. Wow! I was absolutely amazed when a black and white patterned butterfly landed on me and stayed for a long time. It tickled so much, and I loved every single second of it. Such a magical experience! The whole place was really nice and peaceful. I even sat down for a bit of reading. For someone like me who is usually surrounded by Manila’s crowds, this park felt like a breath of fresh air. It's perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with nature. I can't wait to come back. Next time, I would like to go for a jog to enjoy the beautiful nature even more. Now enjoy my video and the pictures and see you again in my next post! 😊

Riding a Kalesa and Lesson Learned!!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/71a5bc3a Hello again, Hive Family! I am back to share another adventure from my time in the area around Intramuros. You might remember my last post about Luneta Park, but this time, I have a story with a bit of a surprise ending! But let's go through the different stations of my video in the correct order: Manila Bay In the first part of the video you can watch me at Manila Bay. I was pleased to see that this beach is much cleaner than it was several years ago. I would wish to see Manila as a whole to be that clean and more people taking care of their own environment. Park While I was jogging early in the morning, I had a nice view of the beautiful park. Kalesa Riding Later I decided to try a ride in a kalesa (a traditional horse-drawn carriage). The driver simply said, "Just enjoy and see around," so I hopped in without asking the price upfront—big mistake! The view, however, was absolutely stunning. We passed impressive, old churches, some said to be around 600 years old, and they were breathtakingly beautiful. The surprise came at the end: the ride cost ₱4,300! The kalesa took us on a very long route through heavy traffic, which took a lot of time. While the price was a shock, the experience of seeing the historic sights up close was unique. Ultimately, it was a memorable (if expensive) lesson learned! Light Play Let's end with the impressive "Dancing Fountain Show" in Rizal Park. I loved watching these color-changing lights! Just enjoy! These last pics show me making an evening walk through the park, back to the hotel.

Fun Games at the Highschool Reunion!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/axhkwfip Hello Hive friends, I hope you are having a good time and enjoy your journey! During my Christmas holidays in Maragusan aside of being together with my family I also had an amazing time at my high school reunion! I already wrote about this event, but today I would like to show you also the video I made there. I had lots of fun reconnecting with my old friends. The highlight of the night were our funny games. We played everything from hilarious relay races to trivia about our school days. The game where you had to spear ring-shaped chips as quickly as possible with a straw in your mouth was particularly amusing. I captured some of the best moments in this video! It was a real joy to be with my batchmates again. We spent a night full of pure happiness and nostalgia in a way that only old friends can share. Now just enjoy the video and the pictures!

My First Hike Ever in the Philippines!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/jjiuubln Hello Hive Family! I hope everyone is having a wonderful and powerful start to this new year—2026, the Year of the Horse! In this video, I am happyd to share a very special first experience with you all: my first-ever hiking adventure in the beautiful mountains of Banaybanay in the province of Davao Oriental. What makes this even more meaningful is that this is the very place where I was born and raised. I grew up surrounded by these stunning landscapes, yet the truth is, I had never actually gone hiking here in the Philippines before. This trip was my first time ever, and it felt like a homecoming in the most active and joyful way possible. I was joined by my wonderful younger sister and her co-worker, who is a teacher. We had such a fantastic time together, full of laughter, fresh air, and breathtaking views. The energy of the group was incredible. They are all in their vibrant 20s, and here I am at 42, keeping up and feeling completely rejuvenated by their spirit. It was a beautiful reminder that adventure and fun have no age limit! I am so grateful to have shared this experience with such beautiful people. We explored trails, enjoyed the lush greenery of the village, and created memories I will always cherish. A quick note: for this video, I am speaking in my heart language, Visaya, to share this story as authentically and warmly as I feel it. I hope you enjoy watching our little adventure. May it inspire you to explore the beauty right in your own backyard, no matter when you decide to start. Here's to fun, new experiences, and a wonderful life ahead in 2026! Have a blessed and adventurous year, everyone, and now enjoy the video and the pictures!

Cleaning my Home and Thanksgiving Trip to Hong Kong!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/qeekthzc Hello, Hive Family! In today's video, I am filming a special journey. I am going back to Hong Kong to visit the kids of the family I used to work for! They are returning to Hong Kong to celebrate Thanksgiving, and I promised I would be there to see them. When they were small little kids I spent more time with them than their own mother... The parents know that the children love me, so they have kindly offered for me to stay with them for free. It is a strange and, yes, emotional feeling to be a guest in the same house where I have worked for many years... I also still have some personal things and clothes in Hong Kong, which I will finally bring back to the Philippines after my stay. But before any flight, I have an important ritual: giving my own house a deep, thorough clean. So in this video, you will join me as I prepare to leave, making sure everything at home is perfect and tidy before I go. I hope you enjoy watching this personal film. Thank you, as always, for your love and support!

New Appliances and Cleaning My Home!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/vlugkixg Hello Hive Family! I hope this post finds you all happy and healthy. I would like to share this new film with you, which is all about tidying and cleaning up and adding some personal touches to my small mansion here in Manila! A significant part of this video is dedicated to welcoming two new members to my home: a brand new refrigerator and a washer-dryer combo. I am overflowing with gratitude for these blessings. To have a solid roof over my head is one thing, but to now have these appliances that make daily life easier and more comfortable truly made a dream come true. Before I had this fridge, I couldn't cook regularly and would most often eat at my sister-in-law's house (hehe!) or at a restaurant. But now, with my new refrigerator, I can buy and store more food. This means I can finally prepare my own meals and enjoy that precious time cooking with my son. It also means I can soon start cooking food to sell, which is also my business idea here in the Philippines! Having this options now feels like the beginning of a beautiful new life for us here. You will also see me doing other tasks, like folding clothes and hiding ugly spots on the wall with some beautiful new wallpaper. So, please sit back, relax, and enjoy the video. Thank you, as always, for your lasting support which means a lot to me.

Cleaning my beautiful home!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/xljumjud Hello Hive Family! I hope everyone is doing well. I am happy to share a new film with you all today. It might seem like a funny video, but I am truly glad to be at home in the Philippines again and excited to record the reality of my life for you. Soon I may show you the new appliances I bought, like a fridge, a washing machine and a stove. I also plan to make some videos about cooking and selling food again, as soon as I am ready. But today it's just about cleaning my place. Can you imagine there is so much to do and to fix in my new home? I had to exchange the unstable door, replace the sink, and the roof is not leakproof at all! This is not my employer's beautiful, big and modern house in Hong Kong, which I used to clean every day. This time, I am cleaning my own home... In the video you see me actually purify the toilet! Maybe not all of you are accustomed to live under such simple conditions, but I am fine and happy to be in my own place now. I hope you enjoy watching this little film. Have a nice day, everyone, and may you always have a happy life. Thank you for your continued support on my Hive journey!

From Hong Kong Efficiency to Philippine Patience!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/kcndeogj Hello, Hive! How are you all doing? I hope this message finds you in good health and having a wonderful day. I was looking through some old films from my time in Hong Kong, and I hope they are still worth showing here, even though I am already in the Philippines. I am happy to still share my Hong Kong experiences with you all. I remember how marketing was so easy for me there, and today I will lead you through a visit to a big market in Hong Kong (after which I start preparing some fish). Anyway, life felt so easy to navigate in Hong Kong. Everything moved with a certain rhythm and efficiency. It's quite different from my life here in the Philippines, where it can be hard to get around. It's often challenging to find what you need. Public transportation doesn't work very well, and when you go to the market, there's always a lot of traffic. It's not simple to get back home early because of all the delays. You really need to plan ahead and leave very early to have any hope of avoiding the worst of it. However, the good thing is that I plan to buy a small motorcycle soon so I won't have to depend on the inefficient public transportation anymore. I am facing a new life now. I am a beginner again, and it is truly challenging for me. But I am holding onto the belief that everything will be alright! I am looking forward to the best. So, good luck to me! And as always, thank you to my Hive family!

First Day in My New Home, Sweet Home!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/ojvzzbhc Hello, Hive! How is everyone doing? I am so glad to see you all again, and as always, I am incredibly grateful for your continuous support of my stories here in the Hive community. Sharing my life's routines and experiences with you all has become a cherished part of my journey. For today's post, I filmed a glimpse of my first day back at my home sweet home. That's right: I am in the Philippines now, in my little mansion! Welcome, Pilipinas! I still have to adapt to my new life, and it's not yet really comfortable at my place: every day there are workers here to repair everything... even the main door has to be replaced (a solid door really can't hurt, as I am living in a squatter area)! Since I don't have any appliances yet—not even a fridge—I am relying on canned goods for the moment. So, here's a look at my easy canned tuna lunch for this rainy day! Once I have appliances, especially a new fridge, I will be ready to start my food selling business and have you take part in the process of cooking and baking again. I hope you enjoy the video. Have a blessed day, everyone!

My Yummy Chocolate Cake!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/bzhbalbi Hey Hive Family! Get ready for some serious chocolate temptation! A few days ago, I baked the most delicious, magical chocolate cake ever (hehe!) and filmed the entire process for you. It was also the last time I baked anything in Hong Kong before moving back to the Philippines. Would it win a beauty contest? Maybe not. But was it amazingly moist, rich, and sooo chocolaty? Absolutely! Tell me what you think! And I am curious to know what's your favorite kind of cake? Which one should I make for you next time? I hope you enjoy my video and the process pictures, but consider this your warning: it might cause some long-lasting cravings!

FIRE DRAGON DANCE - The Video!
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/xasdmpks Hi Hive Family! Do you remember this post in which I described my visit to the Mid-Autumn Festival on October 7th, a major holiday in mainland China and Hong Kong? The festivities also included the 146th Fire Dragon Dance! After 14 years in Hong Kong, I finally experienced the Fire Dragon Dance for the first time, and - as promised - today I have found the time to upload the video I took during that amazing event. Enjoy the film, and thank you all for your ongoing support. I wish you a great day!

CHICKEN MALUNGGAY SOUP | Salt is the Secret! | OFW Style Cooking
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/xzpycjdw Hi Hive Family! Come and have a meal with me today! Sometimes, the most delicious meals are the simplest. I used the fresh Malunggay (a leafy, very healthy vegetable) I bought in the shopping mall of World Wide yesterday to cook a warm Chicken Soup with Malunggay (Sinabawang Manok). It didn't need many seasonings—only SALT was the main flavoring—but it was so tasty and brought back memories of home-cooked meals. I also added some onions, turmeric and lemon grass. Here in Hong Kong, this simple bowl of soup is a true comfort for the heart and stomach. A pro-tip: don't overcook the Malunggay! I add it at the very end to keep its vibrant green color and nutrients. What's your go-to simple comfort food when you are missing home? Thank you for your support, and I hope you enjoyed this little taste of home!
