    Wealth doesn't equal money

Wealth doesn't equal money. I look into the first chapter of 'The Richest Man in Babylon" and dive into what I think are the most important parts of that chapter and I give a review in how I think it was written

  2. 20

    Debt free Basically

I paid off 14.5k$ worth of debt in one day. I took a large position out of my portfolio and decided to pay off 93% of my debt while I work to pay off the last 800$. Now I really am only using my cards for gas and groceries but the goal is to already have that cash and just pay off the card basically the same day. I am trying to build a bigger buffer in all my accounts using various savings accounts and ways to stash money out of my reach and just have it accrue interest and save it for when I need it or keep adding to it.

  3. 19

    Leadership and why its important

Lets talk about the definition of leadership

  4. 18

    Belated August dividend update

I realize I have been slacking in content lately and have been not recording for even thinking about the podcast. Not gonna lie life kind go just threw me for a loop so for a while I was in a state of limbo of not knowing what I actually wanted to do with myself or how to improve myself as a person.

  5. 17

    Dividend update for July

In this episode I am speaking about dividends and where I am at in this journey. I am still so far away from where I truly want to be but I am not as far as I was yesterday. If that makes sense. I am striving towards my goals daily and Hope that me sharing my small wins will help at least one person move forward with their own goals for financial freedom/independence.

  6. 16

    debt changes things

15k credit card debt and how I will get out of it

  7. 15

    What is the point?

I feel like I am doing enough. But I do need feedback from y'all to make sure I am doing enough and that I am actually helping y'all reach your financial goals and questions. My goal is to make a name for myself and help as many people as I can along the way as well. So keep listening and sharing and reviewing it for me and let me know what else I can do

  8. 14

    June money update

The monthly update is in. We have June goals hit and we are excited to continue to grow and see what we can do.

  9. 13

    assets on assets on assets

As you can see from the title we are talking about asset allocation. I speak about how I am almost at one of my biggest goals for the year of 30k worth of assets by the end of 2023. Then I am hitting my 5k savings goal right behind that as well. I will go into more detail and give more of my own advice as I see fit. I am struggling with getting content and also getting ideas on paper.

  10. 12

    Falling Behind

Am I falling Behind? How can I improve if I am? Is there hope? Can I get out of this debt cycle?

  11. 11

    Talking cash

I keep yall updated and the plan for my current future of savings and what I sort of plan to do with what cash I do have on the side currently.

  12. 10

    50% savings rate doable?

I go into personally how I am doing financially. I speak about my debts of about 60k and how I plan on trying to outdo that and still pay that down along with saving roughly 50% with my goal in the next 5 years of saving 75% of my total income.I speak on how much money I am pissing away and how much I am using to grow my wealth.

  13. 9

May the Dividends be with you

obviously its a dividend update day.I show some of the changes that have happened in my life recently and those are the reasons I have kind of gone more towards saving Money instead of investing as much. I still plan on investing a ton and actually plan on getting 20$ a day into robinhood to kind of keep that growth going. I plan on saving 200 a week or so with the knowledge of my utilities come out of one of my high yeild savings accounts so ill lose about 200 from that.I also save rent money typically early in the month so that the last paycheck or so is putting me a little ahead of where I need it. I also plan on getting 3 months worth of rent in the account I need to so that I can continue to grow it a lot but have piece of mind over the fact that I have rent for 3 months no matter what. goal is now to put my savings rate through the roof for the rest of this year and pay down my credit card debt to about 13k instead of close to 14k. Also this savings amount will help a lot when I need to start taking money out and paying for stuff so that what I am actually using is money that I truly don't need since it was just sitting on the sidelines as is.

  14. 8

    IT HAPPENED FOR A REASON

To me the worst has happened. I lost my job, I think, Im in a sort of limbo and it truly is eating at me. I am trying my best to just keep going and focus on what I know I can. I am doing odd jobs here and there to keep income coming in and trying to not touch anymore of my investments. Stay tuned for the journey.

  15. 7

    April updates

In this episode I discuss my April dividend account. I also discuss a recent buy. And a sell of some assets. This made me realize I truly am not as financially secure as I once thought. I was not ready for a random expense at a random time. I didn't have enough liquid funds.I am disappointed in a way but also I am young enough to make sure I won't do that ever again. I was extremely pissed. I am mostly just mad at myself for being undisciplined enough to keep what is needed.

  16. 6

    March madness

I give y'all an update on all of my march dividends and financial stuff. I hope y'all tune in and listen

  17. 5

  18. 4

    What is power

Im currently reading the book "The 48 Laws of Power." I am reading this book as a way to make myself more educated and learned. My goal is to share my opinions on the book and what I feel the main points of "Law" per say. But this is also supposed to a learning experience for me as well. So I know I will come back to this book hopefully every year with a different perspective on it.

  19. 3

    Finding your Cato

Find that mentor to drive you to become the person you have always wanted to be.

  22. 0

    Goals

I just hit a big milestone today 3/21/23 and I just had to share it with yall.

  23. -1

    Find your Crowd

I speak of the friends you have and if it is really in your best interest to keep them around. It took me quite some time to figure out who I need to keep in my circle and who to limit my time with. I can say at points in your life you have to choose who is worth keeping around and who needs to just get the bare minimum and by that I don't mean like be mean to them or anything of that nature but more around the fact of are they providing any extra help in your life. DO they help keep you accountable or do they sort of hold you back.

  24. -2

    Journey So Far

In this episode I speak about all my accounts. What there purpose for me is and what I have in them. I figured out that 5 out of my 6 major accounts are for Mine and my families future. I have 1 account that is for my F.I.R.E Goals. By that I mean that its passive income from investing in those companies will someday pay what is needed for me to male monthly. I need 3-4k a month with my current lifestyle passively from dividends on the high end that is close to 50k a year. I am now just getting a total of over 1.1k a year that means I still need to get 49k a year from these stocks cummulatively. Now that might seem like it takes a while but that's where the snowball effect comes in. Once You can pay for a bill with passive money you can then take that money you would've spent a month on that and stick it into another stock or grow that portfolio with that extra money. Say you spend 150 a month on your phone plan if you focus on getting stocks that are in communication then you can use those dividends to pay that 150 a month. You Can then have an extra 150 a month to build your portfolio to pay your gas bill and eventually you have enough money covering your expenses that you don't have to work or only have to work minimally to get the extra cash to continue to grow your portfolios. Or to buy property, or grow your businesses, or your brand, invest in others. or whatever you wanna do. The goal is to live life how you truly wanna Live. Get that money so you get more time in the future to grow your wealth and live the life you want

  32. -10

    Cut back on the costly

In this prompt for philosophy we tend to see what is costing  us all the time for us to be free- This made me realize that you don't need too much to make do with what you have.

  33. -11

    Awareness is freedom

I did the daily stoic mediation of Awareness is freedom. It was really good to listen and read and really think of are we truly free to do what we want to do as a person. Are we a slave to our jobs, our phones, our daily "chores'. What are truly our obligations. This was a march 4th meditation.

  40. -18

    MAKE MORE MONEY?

In this episode I am talking about how I am making more money investing in the stock market. You may say to yourself "hey Andrew don't you already do that by using dividends". Yes I do but my brain works in a different way then most as to how I see stuff and how it makes my mind at ease with investing purposes. Hence why this series was created as to show y'all how I broke up these stocks and etas in a manor in which made sense to me.

  41. -19

    Dipping my toes in stoicism

I drive head first into my first "meditation" session of stoicism and share my thoughts on some of what I read. And I share what I did read! That was nerve wracking for sure. But that is the point of this podcast to grow into a better person and keep getting through it. I strive to document what I can and share all the cringy moments and honestly some of the worst moments of this podcast with you all. I am doing this to show growth eventually.

  42. -20

    ETF FAILURE

In this episode I am explaining all 3 of my etas I use in my robin hood dividend portfolio. NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE. I go into what they are getting me for the year and what or how they have increased for the dividends. I share that these aren't my only ETFs but they are the only ones in my main dividend portfolio. I know growth is or should be more my speed with my time horizon but it is not in my eyes as of right now but it will eventually take up a larger chunk of this portfolio.

  43. -21

    REAL ESTATE GOALS

In this episode I talk about my "real estate" portfolio. Its my portion or sector that I have filled with REITS. I have done this so that one day in the future I will not have to worry about rent or a mortgage and my investments will be able to pay that off for me and sort of sets me up for Financial independence hopefully for 35 if not sooner. This will sort of be a series where I show off my entire portfolio in sections and show the shares and what I get yearly from them. And share with you how that goal has changed since tracking.

  44. -22

    The Index Card

In this episode I talk about why I have been gone and my plans going forward to be more consistent on this podcast. I review what I've read so far in the Index book. I share some of my pet peeves of what it had to say and what I think about some of the concepts it has shared in the first 2 chapters or so. I have been doing personal finance stuff for the last 4-5 years of my life but by no means is this financial advice. Take everything I say and do your own research on it as well. DOnt take the words of a stranger on the internet to form your views. Take 5-10 minutes a day to figure stuff out for yourself.

  45. -23

    2023 the reset

This is a new start with the podcast. But I am here and I am ready to get going with the new year
