    Episode 2 -Music is Universal

    Episode Summary: In this episode, we delve into the concept of the universality of music. Although different music genres may sound distinct, there is a level of relativism that connects them, as people tend to share similar realities when it comes to musical influences. Additionally, we explore our earliest memories of music and how they have influenced our preferences over time. These episode producers Shaun Boyle, Dom Brown, Endurance Idowu, and Maryam Almhaeed, come from diverse backgrounds, but music serves as a connecting factor between them.     In the first episode of ‘Talking Tunes’ titled ‘Is there such a thing as genre’ Sean Michael, Hope Lynes and Daniel Russell delve into the topic of musical genres and whether or not genres are as important these days and the stereotypes that comes with being a fan of certain music. We also hear from a diehard music fan and local music store owner Marty Yule about his opinions on the word ‘Genre’ as well as finding out how 90’s music icon Andrew Roachford MBE defined his own music.
