We all know that ownership and possession can lead to feelings of endowment and loss aversion. But how about something you don't actually possess or own, but feel like you are entitled to? Like a promotion at work, a discount for being a loyal customer, a spot in a public parking space you habitually put your car at, or even a piece of land of which ownership is ambiguous?
