Resources and Tools - Where did we go for help
So what’s going to help in grief? In this episode, we’re talking about the tools and resources we turned to while navigating grief. From therapy (and finding the right fit) to journaling, group support, and even “busy-ness” as a coping mechanism. We share what helped, what didn’t, and what took time to trust. We also dive into self-help books recommendations as you navigate emotional waves and resistance to healing. Sometimes it's the small practices that slowly make a difference! Most importantly, we reflect on the role of community and the people who showed up when we needed it most. There’s no magic fix. Healing is personal, takes effort, and often comes from a mix of tools over time, so just take it a little bit at a time.

In this episode, we dive into this ritual - which feels like an impossible task of honoring loved ones while you’re still falling apart. We share stories about the planning process, grappling with the rollercoaster of emotions, and finding personal meaning inside traditional spaces. We explore the complexity of holding space to grieve, remember, and honor with community by accepting support and grace to feel all the feelings. A conversation for anyone overwhelmed by all the different ways to honor the loss of a loved one - and maybe not knowing where to start.
