The Pursuit of Independence in Relationships
Welcome to episode 2! 🌷 In this episode, I dive into a thought-provoking topic that lies at the heart of every relationship: independence. If you're in a relationship, you have most likely encountered some of the points in this episode. There are two sides to this discussion, and one is not spoken about as much as the other. First, there's the need to find more independence to maintain your own sense of identity and individuality. Which will also help to maintain a healthy relationship. And then, there is the fear of dependence in the first place. These days, we're often told that we must be 'independent' and 'to not rely on anyone'. This then leads to people putting up walls, struggling to commit fully to a relationship or sending confusing messages to their partner, because of this fear. I think too often these days we get caught up in worrying if we are 'co-dependent' without understanding the complexities and the actual meaning of the word. I recently learnt the value of my own personal independence in my romantic relationship. I provide my tips on this, whilst talking about the nuances of independence. I also talk about some subtle signs you may relate to, read out some listener responses and then leave you with two final quotes. If you have been noticing feelings of dependency, struggling to be alone or being fearful of letting someone in, this episode is for you! Also... take a shot every time I say independence lol I hope you enjoy!! 🎀 💖

Finding Balance and Fulfilment to Enjoy Life
Welcome back to the podcast everyone!! Yay! 🎀 Welcome to season 2! In this episode, I talk about finding balance and fulfilment in our every day lives, especially when life gets busy. You know those periods where you feel like the weeks just pass by, you don't have much motivation for anything, no excitement, you're effectively on cruise control? This is what we dive into in this episode. I recently started working full-time and have learnt a lot about how to create a week that makes me feel happy and fun. I struggled at the start, and then had a moment of realisation, not too long ago, that I had found the balance I was hoping to find. I go through some of the ways I found this balance and my best tips in the ep. This is a super chill episode to kick off the new era of the podcast, I hope you enjoy this Facetime chat with your friend 💖
