Which is impressive considering I basically grew up raised by VHS tapes and late-night cable. Starting this movie, I honestly had no idea what the hell I was watching. Was it a Lethal Weapon knockoff? Some forgotten 80s cop thriller? Or one of those movies that would’ve been a permanent resident on MonsterVision back in the day? Turns out… it might be a little bit of all of that. In this episode we dive into the weird charm of The Hidden, why it feels like pure 80s chaos, and why some movies are way more fun when you stop trying to take them seriously.
