Have you acquired art that you know nothing about? Are you wondering what it is and how much it's worth? I will help you find out more about "Grandma's Art" in this session. There are a lot of websites and useful tools, so you may want to take notes. Learn how to search by image, find a signature, and locate other similar art objects that have sold recently. Bertoia Dandelions

Remember when as a child you blew the dandelion seed head to see how many children you were going to have? Nature's dandelions were the inspiration for Bertoia's stunning sculptural dandelions. Bertoia Asymmetric Chaise Lounge

Dscover the backstory of the sculptural Asymmetric Chaise Lounge including the first prototype sale in 2004. This gorgeous midcentury icon did not find production until 2005, even though it was designed in the 1950s along with all the other Bertoia wire grid chairs. The delay in production was mostly due to the challenges involved with such a curvatious asymmetric form, and partly because they already had a full suite of Bertoia chairs to offer. Is this model available today? Is it easy to get out of the chair once you are seated in it? Find out this and more in this 9 minute audio.

    Bertoia Sculpture Cleaning and Conservation

Do you already own, or are thinking of acquiring, a Bertoia sculpture and wondering how to clean it? What about if a tonal rod is out of place - how to fix it? What products should or shouldn't I use on my piece? If I need professional help, where can I turn? These and other questions are answered in this informative and fun podcast. Daughter Celia Bertoia explains how to clean the most common sculptures in simple easy terms that anyone can understand. And how you - if you're brave - can adjust a rod out of alignment. And how to judge your limits and when to consult or hire a professional conservator. It has a companion blog at https://harrybertoia.org/cleaning/ with pictures.
