HENRY HOLLIDAE
by HENRY HOLLIDAE
HENRYHOLLIDAEHenry Hollidae was given his first set of drum sticks at age 9, his first trap set at 11, and bought his first set of belt-driven turntables at 16. Influenced by the early Chicago house sounds such as Bad Boy Bill, Todd Terry, Hatiras, Steve Smooth, and ZXX. This Denver-based Cow-Town native (hence the hat), now Producer/DJ took off at the turn of the century. Mr Hollidae has plans of dedicating his life to helping others using music as his vehicle. Today, he’s pumping out singles on Elevated Movement Records that satisfy tomorrow’s electro rage with a bit of yesterday’s funk hidden in between the rifts. “It doesn’t matter what genre of house I play – if you listen close enough you’ll hear that distinct hint of funk hidden some where in each individual tracks. If it doesn’t make me want to get up and scream, dance, or jump – its not worth my time – so im not going to waste your time with it. I’m the kind of person that cant sit still and I would have to say that
