An Emmy Award winning journalist and educator, two Latina best friends from the hood tell the untold story of the Hood Girl through their experiences essentially writing in realtime the Hood Girl's Guide to Leveling Up®. We will invite Hood Girls and womxn of color who have leveled up or are in their rising season to help narrate our story. The podcast serves as a reminder to Hood Girls that you are more than your traumas or past or what the world expects you to be.
