Stress vs Nervous System Overload
Stress and burnout are often treated like the same thing. But they’re not.Stress is temporary.Burnout is accumulated.Your nervous system is designed to handle stress in waves:Activation → recovery. But when recovery disappears, overload begins. In this episode we explore the difference between normal stress and nervous system overload, and why so many people misinterpret the signals their body is sending.Understanding this difference can help you notice burnout patterns much earlier. In This Episode• The difference between stress and burnout • Why your nervous system needs recovery cycles • The “battery drain” model of overload • Signs your nervous system hasn’t had time to rechargetarashek.com/beforeburnout

RELEASE THE OUTSIDE BLAME: HOW YOUR THOUGHTS SHAPE YOUR REALITY
First a little apology ... the episode is a few hours late AND I sound kinda funny ... very congested from this covid I'm experiencing. However, I’m so glad you’re here because today, we’re diving into a big topic—a mindset shift that, when you really grasp it, can change everything about how you handle anxiety and what you believe is possible for your life.I’m talking about the moment when you realizethe problem isn’t outside of you—it’s in your thoughts. Now, I know this is going to be a tough pill for some of you to swallow, because trust me, when I first heard this idea, I thought, “That’s a ridiculous pile of crap.” I mean, come on—how can everything I’m feeling be justmy thoughts? Surely there must be something outside of me, something external, that’s causing all of this stress and anxiety. Right? But after some reflection, some deep work, and a lot of trial and error, I’ve come to realize that, actually… it’s true. It’s not the circumstances or situations you’re in that are the problem—it’s yourthoughts about those circumstances.

Believing the Inevitable: How Faith in Your Journey Can Help You Overcome Anxiety
I’m so glad you’re here today, because we’re going to talk about something that can completely shift the way you approach your anxiety—and really, the way you approach your whole life. It's about believing in the inevitable. Now, I know what you’re thinking: “I’m anxious—how is anything inevitable when my mind is all over the place?” Trust me, I get it. When anxiety is running the show, nothing feels certain. The “what-ifs” take over, and the future seems like an endless sea of potential disasters. But what if I told you that truly believing something is inevitable—even the things you want most in your life—could actually help you do the work to make it happen? www.tarashek.com

Now, if you’ve ever been in a situation where someone stops reaching out, stops replying, and just disappears without explanation, you probably know how hurtful that can feel. But here’s the twist: What if I told you that we sometimes do this to ourselves, especially when anxiety takes over? What if we’re the ones who disappear when things get tough? Today, we’re going to explore what it means to “ghost yourself” and how anxiety often causes us to disconnect from who we truly are, leaving us feeling lost, disconnected, and stuck in a loop of overwhelm.
