It's a Binghamton Thing

After retiring from teaching, I decided to launch a podcast where I chat with people from Binghamton and discusses the nostalgic place I call home.   I believe anyone who grew up in Binghamton is either a "Local Legend" or "Binghamton Famous," not just the big names but also the everyday heroes, like the cashier at my favorite childhood grocery store. Binghamton is a special place for me, and I echo our own local legend Rod Serling’s words: "Everyone has to have a hometown, Binghamton's mine."Episode WebsitePlease subscribe to "It's a Binghamton Thing"

    Introducing "It's a Binghamton Thing" - Trailer

Retired from teaching, Julie decided to start a podcast.  Come listen as she talks to people from Binghamton, discusses pop culture and dives into beauty and makeup.  According to her she thinks everyone who grew up here is a "Local Legend" or "Binghamton Famous."  Not only just the obvious movers and shakers, but the unsung heroes like the cashier at your favorite childhood grocery store. She'll also share beauty info she's learned along the way (Her love of all things beauty started at Crones Drugs Store while canvassing the aisles with a Glamour magazine in hand at 10 years old).  Julie believes Binghamton's own local legend, Rod Serling, said it best.  "Everyone has to have a hometown, Binghamton's mine." Click here if you'd like to come on and chat!
