A lot of games have been releasing recently! Mac is going on his journey with Clair Obscur Expedition 33, Arkry has been busy playing The Hundred Line Last Defense Academy, and (while not a new release) Juno has been going through a lot of the souls games! So in this episode we're discussing our time with those games, but we also take a look at the future of Persona with the rumored Persona 4 Remake.

There is a lot to talk about today. Last week there was a Nintendo Switch 1 direct with some awesome announcements, and a few days of course there was the long awaited Switch 2 Showcase. A lot of news was revealed, some good things, some bad things, some horrible things like you've never seen before... Will this lead to the end of gaming?? Did Nintendo KILL the gaming industry??? Welcome to episode 8 of the 3 Player JAM! It's been a while but we are finally back with a new episode! We might have a new name and artwork, but this is still the same podcast. For our first episode of 2024 we wanted to talk about our plans for this year! Both gaming/media wise but also for our creative projects. Besides that we also talk about our favorite things from 2023! Be it gaming, movies, anime or manga, whatever we experienced throughout the year, no matter the release date.

The Game Awards of 2023 just happened so this episode we're joined by @SamTalksGames to talk all about that! We talk about Geoff's award show in general, the winners, who got snubbed and of course all the new game announcements! But of course we also got a Grand Theft Auto VI trailer which we just had to talk about as well!

On the day of recording they announced the nominations of The Game Awards 2023 so this episode is all about that! From our thoughts on the games that were nominated to the games that we think should have gotten a nomination instead. We also make our predictions and just discuss everything about this event. We also talk a bit about the recent announcements that have been released thanks to the ending of the writer & actor strike or other announcements such as the GTA VI tease!

For this episode we are joined by Milkiwi, who attended Gamescom 2023 with Arkry! On this episode we talk about our experience going to the event and we give our thoughts on all the demos we played.
