Entry #7: Finale! His story!
After a break for a few weeks, we're finally back with the season finale! I'm sure all twelve of you have been waiting with bated breath! 😊 Today, on literally the one year anniversary of us recording our very first voice memo that would be episode 1 of this podcast, we are uploading our season finale. (This wasn't planned. How cool is that? Don't you just love happy accidents!) In this episode, we finally hear his story about the ending of his marriage and what it was like re-entering the dating scene. For those of you who have joined us on this journey, thank you for taking the time to hear our stories. We hope you didn't find it too boring. But most of all, we hope that wherever you are in your relationship, this podcast has been special for you. Thank you. Email us to say "hi" and let us know what you thought. [email protected]. Entry #6: Anniversary of Their First Date
After a comical drive home, our two dating divorcées reflect back on their first date on Zoom. As usual, food plays a central figure in this episode. Let them know what do you think: if two people are at a table of food about to leave a party, and one person packs a small doggy bag for himself (or herself), and the other person doesn't get anything, should the first person be expected to automatically pack a second doggy bag for the second person? I mean, wouldn't it make sense for the second person to say whether or not she (or he) wants the first person to pack something for them too? Email us what you think to [email protected]. Entry #5: She's Leaving!
In this week's episode, our two star-crossed lovers discuss possible podcast names, how discussing Batman vs Superman is an analogy for active listening, speaking each other's love languages, and how to deal with the fact that she's leaving. Entry #4: A Christmas Bonus
This was originally going to be a bonus episode, but we decided just to release it as a "regular" episode. So there aren't any poignant discussions about family, relationships, or life, but it's still a lot of fun. Christmas is coming early this year! (Email us at [email protected] and let us know if you agree that "A Christmas Story" is a classic!) Narration is by Max Simshauser. Find more of her work at maxsimshauser.com.
